Vroom offered me 42,430 for my 19 GT 401A with 4K miles and all options but magnaride. Not bad.
That's crazy.. What market? My 2020 with 200 miles and all options including Magnaride only got an offer of 40k from Vroom. I'm not in the market to sell, just curious if they would offer more than I paid as many others have mentioned. Not even in the ballpark.

So Carvana offered me $35688 and Vroom offered me $41881.
Loaded 2019 with 3000 miles. See below.
I don't know if I trust Vroom.

I used area code 60950 and excellent condition ratings.

Just re-ran it too, looks like it’s down, but still over 41k.

Just got a call from Vroom, they want my car for $41881.
I looked up Kelley Blue Book and Private sell is $37726 to $41561.
I don't see how they can offer that much.

Out of curiosity I looked at Carvana's for sale cars in my area to match my convertible. Out of 36 cars, from 2012 to 2019, none newer than '19 were for sale, there were exactly 3 not listed as "on hold" or "purchase in progress". Of those 3 only 1 was in stock, the other two were listed as "pre order".
Of the few that closely matched mine, year, trim and milage, all were listed for more than I paid in July of 2019. Some several thousand more.
So, they are apparently selling them as quickly as they can get them for whatever they are listing them for.

Perhaps KBB, etc haven't caught up to the changing market place yet?

I've been looking at Rangers and used Rangers on Carvana are more expensive than a new one. Mind boggling but a lot of people, especially millennials, value the ease of the transaction over price. The internet has changed the way people think and buy. There's so much money out there now from the government dumping trillions of dollars into the economy, that people just don't care. Check out prices on Bring a Trailer. It's just irrational right now...

did any of you look at the site later and see your car there? how much more was they selling it for. id imagine they have to uncharge a lot, shipping there and back, inspections, reselling it, etc.. I dont see how they make money.

It may not be about making money just yet, but about taking over the market. That’s when they can start squeezing.

Carvana offered me $34,681. I paid $35,000 out the door 6 months and 8,000miles ago. Not bad, but I think I'll keep it.
