I had them installed on my 2017 f150 when I bought it. 64,000 miles later, there still holding great. IMHO there better then oem. What I liked, I got the color I wanted, not the couple choices Ford offered.
Do you have any pictures of what yours look like now? I'd love to see how they've held up after 64,000 miles!

I just got my seats re-done with Katzkin leather.

I guess it’s safe to assume that the new leather covers don’t affect the airbag deployment? Same stitching?

Assuming can get you in trouble in many ways...here is a picture of my Katzkin seats. If you expand the view, you'll see the label.

So far I love them. I didn't get the heated/cooled added in. I would never use seat heaters here in Texas anyway and I don't quite like the idea of adding in complexity. Of course YMMV.

Zhent,
Did you get the blue door panel inserts from Katzkin as well? I was under the impression that they only came in black or red.

The door panel inserts are from Redline Goods. I had them done a while back along with the center console lid.

Does the black leather get excessively hot?
I wouldn't say they get excessively hot. I keep a sun screen in the windshield and have tinted windows. Interior temps have been hot after being parked in teh sun all day, but I don't get burned or stuck to the seats when wearing shorts.

My experience with Katzkin has been great. In Texas summers, my skin remains on my body and nothing has burned off. It was easy enough to install myself. The leather really tightened up and formed to the seats after a little while. Nobody would guess that it was aftermarket.

The driver and passenger backs were the hardest to install and so far they have been great
