Literally the only valid point in your whole post  lmao
I guess I was giving you too much credit. Let me restate. You seem to be an internet blowhard who has only passing knowledge about the Mustang and an infinite supply of empty opinions you feel compelled to share.

Imagine assuming all of this just because I mistakenly named 1 POS Mustang 5 speed instead of another POS Mustang 5 speed

Can you say “REACH” lmao

They could also have put turn signals in the hood like my 2016 has. It is gimmicky but Ford put it in that year only.
Really? I didnt know that...my wife's gt/cs is a 16, and I figured it was on all of them, or at least the premium packages...I've got a 350 so nothing to compare it to. Thank you....I learned something new today

But honestly the Mach I or even just a Mustang GT with an A10 would destroy any GT350 made because it has a manual transmission and there's no way you're going to shift quick enough and be in the power band to beat an a10 in the quarter mile. it's not that the Shelby engine has anything wrong with it it's just that it doesn't have an automatic transmission. I raced my a10 stock and it did better quarter mile times at Milan then the guy that was running a GT350. The days of manual transmissions beating cars with a stick have been over for a very long time.
The 350 was not designed for the drag strip...it is a road course car

Second time I'm explaining. We all know that. But that doesn't change the fact that a number of GT350 owners takes their cars to the strip. And THEY care about the 1/4 mile times or they wouldn't be there. It matters to them and it is a statistic compared to virtually all performance cars.

I'm not arguing that people use them however they want to use them....I was just stating that it wasn't built with the 1/4 being the priority. I know an auto is quicker/more consistent than a manual. Thats partly why my 00 z/28 is an auto. When I bought it, I was strictly a drag race guy. I know people have great things to say about the a10. Im not debating that, and even on a road course it might be better than a manual, but I personally prefer the manual. I feel more connected to the car....again thats me, and not taking away anything from someone who likes a it better. My wife's car is an auto because thats what she likes

The more I think of this, I see the Mach 1 hood stripe is maybe to simulate the center bulge area that goes to often a shaker or a hood scoop of the 69/70. I guess they are trying to make it more modern and work with the empty space between the extractors of the stock 18+ hood?

Or they should have modified a Gt350 hood with the Mach 1, since its has a more center oriented focus.

It just seems like an afterthought. I looked at some 69 Mach 1 and felt a more covered wrap or paint at least covering the vents, since the scoops/shakers/ram air hood vents seem to have always had the black or argent vinyl over them 100%? Steeda looks closest to a 69 mach 1 despite not being a flat hood.

Personally I think the 2021 Mach 1 hood more resembles the 71 Mach 1 hood?

and I would cut the vinyl straight back from the 'vents' and cut it at an angle toward the front to mimic NACA hood. If you play with shiny vs matt black you could probably do a reasonable facsimile of making it actually look like a NACA at casual glance.
