Read the Roush warranty. And be prepared for a lot of fun!
Buy a new set of rims... Add quality rubber. Swap back when you need to. (and don't talk about it on the internet!)

I agree on the fun!

(PS, I have told Roush that I have gone to the dragstrip and given them logs of the results when it was heatsoaking. They have been awesome.)

You are going to want some sticky tires. I think you'll find very quickly that the factory tires are not going to be good enough. Might be a good idea to look at some suspension mods too.
That’s definitely on the list! I’m on BFGoodrich comp 2 all seasons right now so I’ll definitely need a tire change. Any recommendation?

I personally like the Nitto NT05R. I think most people here prefer the Nitto 555r2.

I figured I may as well have Jack Roush sign my battery cover. I had my buddy take it to him, since I couldn't get away from work.

So the dealer I ordered my GT from suggested he install the Rouch SC. Total fee $8895. That's pretty good, right?

Update: Thanks to HippiH8r I now got it from dealer installed at $8000. Woot!

One thing to look at would be axle shafts. Roush puts them on "from the factory" on their supercharged cars. My RS2 had a supercharger installed when it was new, but never got the axle shafts upgraded. It'll be one of the first things I do to it.
