What's up everyone. I need some help choosing a tuner for my car.
I have a 2018 GT PP1 10R80 bone stock with an X-Pipe, and i have an AEM Drop-in High Flow Air Filter on the way for my air intake.
I plan on getting a tune for E85 and or Flex Fuel for now. In hopes of getting some more power.
In your opinion who is better PBD or LUND? And why?

Future plans for the build include a whipple 3.0L supercharger maybe in a year.
Both are great to work with and do wonders on these cars. IMO it really comes down to personal preference and could flip a coin and be extremely happy. Lund tunes our shop cars and PBD tuned my 17 Whipple’d gt and both ran great on the street and also made monster power. Keep in mind that if you’re looking to grab an nGauge only PBD has those right now (until they last). #TeamLethal

I had to give up on PBD. After only a few email exchanges of datalogs, they simply stopped helping me.

I had drivability issues and really wanted to get them sorted out.

My emails were brief and polite. I had to move on. So I am not fan of PBD.

Not saying they won't be good for someone else.

Dyon sheets on 93 LUND makes a little more power and onE85 PBD makes a little more power? Both are 3 to 5 hp apart from each other.

It's funny for humans, always has to be a winner. Data is out there that both are great. Communication frequency and a couple of Lund created youtube videos made the choice for me. But I think PBD is a fine choice too.

And I came into this as a Mustang newbie 4 months ago. Ive had follow up questions to Lund as recent as last month (ghost cam and death of nGauge). Always get answers within a few hours on a weekday.

You honestly can't go wrong with either or. Both are amazing companies with amazing people. It really comes down to personal preference. We can get you taken care of on a tune from either tuners here from www.lethalperformance.com. Give us a shout!

I had a similar experience. I went through lots of revisions and they tried to work with me but we just couldn’t get it figured out.

I give them a positive customer service rating; they refunded me when I asked and we went our separate ways.

Both are solid. I'd add AED to the convo too.

I’m Lund tuned and have no issues. I have heard great things about both companies although I have also hear/seen driveability issues with PBD

Support your local (to the state anyways) tuner and go AED. Took my car up to his shop and had it dyno tuned. Gained a lot of knowledge and the customer service was great. He knows these engines inside and out as well as our local fuel quirks in CA. My car hurts a lot of feelings on E85 now

Yes, but AED will not tune forced induction on 18+

Last I heard Shaun will do boosted 18+ but only on e85 / race gas. My guess is liability on the 12:1.

I know this is a Lund or PBD thread.

But, I used Wengerd Performance in Tennessee. We did a remote using an Ngauge. Could not be happier. Car runs like a chicken in an alligator farm. 1st tune I loaded has been excellent - have a few logs to go to make sure everything is dialed in.

Drivability is spot on, pulls clean and crisp on the bottom and just pulls everywhere, especially from the mid-range to the top with my Stage II, Procharger.
