What do you believe is the cause of Stangmodes’ blown motor?

It's interesting to see stang mode act like he's dejected by the results. He's pushing 1100 crank hp through a stock motor with no upgraded fuel system. "Come on man". Your on eggshells with that setup. Now it's time to get a proper build. It will be much better than a stock bottom end.

Now the engine has popped his car value has already taken a beating, could he afford to beat it some more ?

How much more of its identity / value would be lost without a 5.2 / original configuration power plant ?

Nope get a 7.3 crate engine, Whipple and Procharger already have kits for it..
Yes, let's make less HP than the setup he had.

A built 7.3 made 789 hp naturally aspirated.
at end of the video they talk about the potential power of it when its boosted:

He keeps saying "I hope the heads are OK" after looking at condition of pistons and windowed block. He is a dreamer. I cannot imagine there is any salvage at all here. There has to be damage to the heads. What is he thinking? The whole motor has to be cooked. He just wants to stretch out the "suspense" to make more videos which increases his dollar return for this prank. Drama queen. It is terrible to waste this beautiful car which somebody else could have enjoyed. It sickens me.

Can someone with more knowledge tell me how the fuel became his issue? Even if he had more fuel, wouldn't the pistons still be a weak point prone to failure at that HP? In my mind, he would have needed built internals PLUS fuel to have prevented this? Again, my ignorance may be showing, just trying to improve.

Upper limits have not been proven on the 7.3 yet. There's Supercharged, and there's full tilt NA. No combination of the 2 yet. The Coyote uses boost much better than any factory 2 valve. The Coyote with a billet block has 4,000HP potential. I'm sure we'll see the limits of the 7.3 found within a year. You probably will never see the racing support for the 7.3 that the Coyote has.

Running lean will cause detonation to the point of failure if pushed.

I'd put $1,000 on it that the heads are junk. No way they escaped destruction.

Look at that piston, it MELTED, the engine was super lean.

I stand by my earlier posts, he deliberately blew this engine to get views.
He either unplugged one fuel pump or he ran E85 on a gas tune.
