On a side note I am sorry to hear about your guys wheel problems. It’s unfortunate this keeps happening to people, and has been happening for almost 5 years.

I agree that the R replica Vibe Motorsport ($4,600) and the Signature Reserved SV902 ($5k) are probably much better than the Project6GR wheel ($1,800) but I could spend a little more and get an extra set of OEM CF wheels so I have a street set and a track set.

You definitely can, and it’s a sick track wheel. Problem being if you damage one, you’ve significantly raised the cost of repair. Not to mention you still will have issues with a lack of brake caliper clearance and scratching up those sweet ass ceramic coated barrels and red calipers.

What we build keeps you within 4 lbs of the oem wheel, doubles the brake caliper clearance, and reduces the replacement cost by a fair amount. Plus the option to have the wheels be more concave, a variety of colors, or custom cut to take away the poke of the factory rear wheels.

decisions decisions...

yes, and got each set for 1/4 the price of the vibes. but admittedly, i also have 2 new sets of OEM R CF wheels too lol
Plus How many sets of tires? Presumably a set for the MRR’s and a set for the SVE’s? Now you’re well above what I paid.

OP, simple solution is to have the wheels measured for runout. This will determine if they are out of round. If they're out of round, you then need to determine what you want to do with them. You can try to work with the manufacturer or you can speak to local wheel repair shops to determine if there's any way in which they can help you out.

Personally I've put 8,000 miles on my set and 0 scratches within the wheels, no vibrations, no wobble. For a budget wheel option with the deep concave face I was looking for, they've performed well for me. If you want better there are better options out there though.

Sometimes it helps to tag the person you’re asking, @angels2k . He hasn’t been on since October...
Good point! I never uncheck the "watch this thread" or the "and receive email notifications" boxes when I am the thread starter (or even most of the time when I reply to one) but it makes sense that, as much as some people are on here and posting, that they would, so thanks!
