I bought it used for $12k they depreciated like a rock because of the shit ABC suspension. But a set of coilovers a quaife LSD and some other simple mods fixed that.

So are you saying the German guy that built the Benz engine is better than the union workers that built this one hah?

I don't know about everyone else but imo an $80k car with the Shelby name on it should have way more pride in their product. $80k isn't cheap at all, most expensive new car I've ever bought. If you're buying a hand built engine there should be a benefit to that. I had a good experience with the Benz figured this would be similar.

My 2019 is hanging in there with 4,300 miles. And my 2011 F-250 hasn't shelled yet with 90K miles and the 2014 F-150 with 95,000 hasn't dropped its guts out, it only needed three sets of tires and brakes so far. Occasionally they apparently make one that works.

Yeah and I passed my driver's license test in my grandparents sable. I bought a 2017 F250 platinum diesel new it was cursed right out of the gate, in the shop for 6 months, etc.... Gave it back got a different color, got tired of being terrified of harming the thin fragile body (my work truck was a black gasser F250 and I ran over a tiny pipe instead of denting the bedside it tore it in half about 7") so I sold it and got a G56 tradesman cummins Ram couldn't be happier. There are plenty of good fords plenty of bad ones, I was just hoping I got a good one this time.

Every once in a while someone creates an account here just to share their bad experience. Nothing wrong with that really - everyone knows that when things are perfect (like thousands of other cars), people generally don’t create an account to let everyone know. Drilling on ad nauseam trying to convince everyone that somehow they will share your experience might help you vent and feel better but it’s not likely. You had a bad one and that’s unfortunate - hope you find a satisfactory resolution.
