Hey folks! New member here...wish I had found this site/thread when I was in the midst of buying my Shelby. Have a Heritage edition GT350R, LR147, VIN 1853. @ParkCity06 wondering if we are the only ones in Utah? Got mine at Larry Miller Superford for pretty much MSRP (got them down!)...but they gouged me on the extras, need to cancel most of them...was too excited to think straight haha. Already done 1500 miles plus one track day...loving this beautiful machine!

Crap--I thought I was the only HEP R in Utah! Haha. Welcome aboard--and great pic!

Bummer with all the snow now--we can't go on a cruise--let's plan a spring run--and make sure you join https://numoa.com/. Until next year!

Looking for some good car show talking points as it pertains to our HEPs. When was the last time the GT350s were produced in Wimbledon White/Guardsman Blue? I see that Shelby may have made some from 2011-2013, but not sure the white was Wimbledon. I think the 65-67 had our color combo, but not sure about the 68 or 69/70. Anyone have any insight?

Shelby made a GT350 from 2011-2014. I had the first customer delivered GT350 "R tune"(it was a more aggressive tune- that's it) but it was in Performance white, as Shelby didn't get into repainting and Ford didnt offer Wimbledon until 2015 for the 50th Anniversary 1 of 1964 builds. Even though Ford offered it on the anniversary car, for some reason, the 2015 GT350 and the R were both produced in Performance white.

So, the 2020 is the first GT350 to be offered in Wimbledon since the original run 55 years ago.

I know they used Wimbledon white for the 50th anniversary mustang but not sure the last time it appeared on a Shelby. I’m curious!!

The 1965-1968s had our color combo, or I should really say that we have their color combo. ;-) 1968 was the last year for the GT350 in Wimbledon White and Guardsman Blue Over the Top stripes. Looks like the 69/70s had Wimbledon white with Guardsman Blue side stripes only. I did see that about the 50th Anniversary GTs the other day when I started researching this. Thanks for the clarification on the 2011-2014 models. Everything I read said they were painted in "traditional" white, but didn't know what that meant.

Just called, was told it could be had “around sticker” but the nearly 4K off is a mistake.
Might still be a decent deal considering the ADMs local to me.
