The car made 525 RWHP at 7K today. 433 RWTQ. I know these are low numbers compared to what I was expecting but it runs very good. It seems faster than my Bullitt with a Whipple making 675. I guess it is the A10. Lidio at Alternative Auto took it for a ride and commented on how well the tune and blower worked. He said with 6.5 of boost he thought it was decent.
I asked him if it was making 10 psi and he said likely another 100 or more HP.
The thing still holding me back from upgrading is my concern about drivability. You might think this is crazy but of the 5 FI cars I have owned so far, this is my favorite and it has the least HP. So, I think I may end up becoming a Procharger fan.

Those of you that have experience with Procharger, if I add injectors, pulley, and boostapump if needed, who would you use to tune? What power then would it make sticking to 91+ octane?
Any of the reputable tuners ( Lund, AED, PBD...) will be good and will tune you right. 650-700 on 91+ tune. As far as driveability, the thing I love about Centris is that you won’t go into boost under normal driving especially with a A10. But the power will be there as soon as you go WOT. The only difference will be the sound.

First of all, thanks for the info. With what I listed as priorities, what injectors, pulley an BAP(if needed) would you recommend?

Are they loud during idle or normal driving? I've heard some clips of centris and some of them whistle so loudly even when the car isn't really doing anything that I can't imagine having one as a daily driver.

Mine whistles at fast idle when cold until the rpms slow down. But honestly cannot hear it at all when I am in the car. Just feels like a fantastic running GT except for the wheel spin I get in 1, 2, and sometimes 3rd gear. I really like it. More power wouldn't hurt of course, but it is quieter than stock because that dumb air tube is capped off.

Mine is loud especially with Big Red Race Valve. But I think of it like an exhaust, why get a loud exhaust and quiet blower? At idle unless you know what to listen for you would think it’s just the engine but during normal driving you’ll hear the whoosh of a ProCharger. I do agree that the vortech or Paxton is obnoxious but the ProCharger is subtle.

BAP and stock fuel system (stock injectors) will support 650rwhp on pump gas. I have done as high as 670, but don't know if every car could support that, never tried it.

After getting feedback from Procharger and Lethal and PBD, I am planning to upgrade my stage 1 HO kit to 52lb injectors, BAP and 4" pulley. How does that sound to make at least 600+ RWHP?

That should be plenty to get you where you want to be, if you are positive that you will stop there. If there's any doubt, just get bigger injectors now and save the money.

This is kind of why I went with the stage II kit. I went back and forth 100 times, but with the options I wanted, the cost difference was minimal. And I knew I'd be craving more.

You can make 600-650 wheel on the stock injectors. (Both sets). 52's will be more then enough even if you wanna turn it up a bit. (don't know what they will support on Ethanol though)

I went with 52 lb injectors, bap and 4" pulley. Hope that can get me to the 600 rwhp level.

52s are fine. the bap you don’t need it for that kind of horsepower. The four-inch pulley will not get you to 10 pounds of boost

Thought I would give an update on my Procharger. So I did the 52lb injectors, BAP, 4" pulley and 91 octane tune from PBD. I am very impressed with both Lethal Performance and Palm Beach Dyno. Zero traction with my 275 A/S UHP tires. This is the funnest car to drive I have owned since my 427 Galaxie.

The car runs so good. I am sold on the Procharger for sure. The shifts are excellent as well. I am hoping to get into Alternative Auto for a dyno pull to see the difference in HP but it is substantial.

Plus the install is super easy and Procharger is quick to answer questions.

This is the setup I will use for the Mach 1. It will allow me to keep the strut brace and the shiny intercooler looks very cool. Might even get a chance to take it to the dragstrip before season ends...

I'm so confused on pulley sizes on the different kits. I know you have a P1X HO kit. You said originally it came with a 4.5" pulley? And you just upgraded to a 4.0"? Mine actually came with a 3.8". Just checked my build sheet to verify. P1SC though. Obviously there are lots of variables. Carb kit vs regular, stage 2 dedicated drive vs shared drive, etc.. Just seems strange.

Whats strange about varying pulley configs?
