You are a better man than I, my better half was against it but I pulled the trigger anyway. She doesn’t get my car thing but it’s only been going on for 40 years so maybe she will come around eventually!
True story: In May I'd found a HEP-R at MSRP at a dealer in California - one of the first chassis numbers. I procrastinated long enough that I lost it. Mainly coming to terms with spending the money and convincing the family it was justifiable; partly also I didn't quite believe they would do it. That gave me enough time to berate myself and feel at peace with idea of the purchase.

I bet the dealers were feeling different in May. Heck no way I was pulling the trigger then when it seemed the country or world economy was dead.. amazing what a difference 5 months makes, not out of the woods yet but I’m sure as consumers are more confident so are the dealers and thus the level of ADMs. Great that you got a deal you could live with... I wasn’t going over $5k ADM but I cratered and paid 8k ADM on my HEP R. I have never paid an ADM before still can’t believe I did it but when I take it out on the weekends it’s the last thing I think about!
Some get a cover from Ford but I went with the cover from Shelby American here is a pic. Went with blue but they have other colors too. Fits perfect and quality is great.
And if Biden wins they’ll be giving cars away again. I’m sure they’re trying to make what they can prior to Nov 3.
Interesting, Ben. Thanks for the update. My car is showing back up on the post as “delivered”. Does that mean it actually has set tire on the dealer pavement?

as I was able to make a deal and put deposit on it a few weeks ago..... Maybe by next weekend it will be in the garage!
