It's done.

There will be early bird pricing can be done via group buy. Retail will be the same as the 2015, Let me know if you guys want me to make the sale in a group buy thread or keep it in this thread. We can do tier pricing, 10-20-30 units etc... get bigger discounts. I know you guys have been waiting patiently, I am now comfortable to say this is an official VT product.

After 11 revisions, 6 test fits, long evenings and lots of design time and scan time, I finally have something that gets my personal stamp of approval for the 2018-2020 Mustangs.

No other trimming required to install, however you must remove those hexes via dremel or blade if you want max airflow and you probably should do the same on the passenger side if you want to see the pass side big mouth at all, ford did a crap job covering that side up completely.

Here are some pictures of the development, it was quite a challenge but nothing VT can't handle, duh!!

Ignore the color mismatch from the left to right duct, there are just prototypes. :)

Listing link will be up TODAY.

Let me know what you guys want to do with the group buy though.

What grill is this? Exactly what I've been looking for.

Ah yes, I can see that now. How much did you cut off to still keep the honey comb? I tried that with my previous one and went too deep that I cut it all off.

I sanded it off from the back - just enough to break through the honeycomb blanking pieces :like:

Oh so you literally sanding it off with sandpaper vs. cutting it with like a dremel? It must not be that thick.
Here you go :

Mask all the front of the grill off and lay it face down.

Started with a belt sander. Be careful as the plastic gets hot real easy and melts / smears so work over a large area and keep the thing moving.

Once it had broken through, P80 on a sanding block to level it all off.

Finished with a medium wet n dry paper on a small orbital sander.

Everything done from behind so no chips or scratches etc on the front :

Be patient, I reckon there’s about three hours work in that ...

Hope that helps ?
