So recently got my S5550 and found out that previous owner replaced the factory Recaros with all leather , electric heated and cooled seats. IS THERE ANYWAY TO HOOK THESE UP WITH THE EXISTING HARNESSES UNDER SEAT ALREADY ??? All I’ve had is the runaround, Even the dealers wont touch it cuz not factory ???? Even thought they’re the ones used by the factory Anyway ?? I’m in dire need of a solution here. Would love heated seats for the winter! Or at the very least is there anyway to adjust the seat mechanically for the time being. I appreciate any help out there !!

There are no dash switches in recaro seat fitted cars to operate them anyway.

Nope, nothing on touch screen for seats. Its all mechanical. Being that, you should be able to at least get the seat moving with some creative wiring. After all, all you need is a 12v power supply to the seats, as all the controls are right on the seat. The heater is a little different as it requires a low-med-high switch mounted somewhere. I recall some thread where someone hooked these up and put a switch down by their knee, next to the shifter. Sorry don't know where I saw that though.

you cant unless you rig up something custom. The bcm and wiring harness are different for cars with heated and cooled. I hear they even come with a higher amp alternator.
