lol, the ones (Porsche) I've seen cost significantly more, as in Porsche 911 Turbo S money...too rich for my blood :)...no way I would give up either for the Porsche Boxster or Cayman :muscle:

Don't you have a z06 and a supercharged mustang? You can get a 718 GT4 for $100k.

You can find a decent 2017 991.2 C2S for under $100k, mid $70s if you don't mind one that has been in an accident. Even minor accidents with a 911 drops the resale value a ton. In stock form they are 11 second cars. With a Cobb AccessPort tune and minor mods they are in the 10s.

I'm not really looking for a Porsche, I was just making a fun comment.

I do agree with what you said though.

I WAS looking to buy another Porsche. But, my wife put an end to that idea. She really likes our Mustang and hated the Porsche we had.

Funny how that happens. My wife absolutely does not like my Vette but loves the Mustang.

2017 Corvette from a roll... no problem... now that surprised me... 10A base GT faster than a 2017 Corvette top end :)

Not sure what that comment refers to. Automatic Z06 is 2.8 0-60. I've never reached top end on any of my cars...except the ones I drove on the autobahn.

The canyons are really popular spots here in Colorado for car enthusiasts. About half the time I go for canyon runs someone will try and race me up the canyon. Whether or not you can put distance on them is considered win/lose. Last month a Toyota Camry TRD thought it could play - but the only time it got close was when I had to slow down and wait to pass an RV/van/truck, etc. However, I do think Toyota at least made them look good, even if they are gutless. Today it was a BMW 340i M Sport. I was actually intimidated because I know how good they are, but he couldn't keep up. Maybe he didn't know the road like I did, but he only closed the gap on long straights.

2015 V6 M6. vs 1967 Chevelle (lopey cam wide rear tires no idea what engine) from a roll (about 20-25) to 80, took him by about a length.

Can't wait til I get the turbo.

Lol, he didn't know I just have a 6. But it really wasn't that quick. I turned off and he kept going.
