Is it me, or are used S550 prices on the rise? It seems sonce COVID happened, the GT’s especially, have gone up in price. I’m seeing 15 GT’s selling for nearly $30K with low miles. I mean, that’s absurd. You can get a new 2020 in the mid to high $30’s.

I’ve been monitoring the prices for the past few months and it’s impossible to get any S550 GT under 30,000 miles in the mid 20K range....where they should be. The car is going on it’s 7th model year and they aren’t depreciating.

Looks like I’m going to keep holding out. I really want a 2018+, but need them to drop to $30K, max.

Yep. I'm testing waters, but I've been quoted real close to what I paid new and I have 28k miles. It's a great time to sell.

I would say they’re holding really strong and depending on the market are overvalued.. great for the seller.

For reference, I paid $29.9 or so for my 16 in latter 2018. It had 5,800mi and is a base, performance package.. security package. Those are about the only options.

While it was more than I wanted to spend (was shooting for $26k or less), the market area (south Florida) pretty much allows the dealer to control the market due to demand.

The others I looked at that were going for less either were non PP cars, higher mileage or had an accident history.

Used prices in general are up quite a bit because despite the economy, the used market has been crazy.

High demand and no supply. 2017s with 20-30K miles are listed for what I paid new for our 2017 in Nov. 2017.

We were truck shopping in April and May and there was some deals to be had. But all of that is gone now.

Back at the end of March, beginning of April, Kelly Blue Book low trade in value for my 2017 Base GT was just over 24k. Now it is just over 28k. In April I was thinking about buying a 2019 Bullitt and I had trade in offers anywhere from 22k to 25k, but ended up just keeping my GT. Now I am thinking about ordering a 2020 since Ford is still accepting orders. Haven’t spoken to a dealer yet about trade in, but received a Carvana estimate of 26.7k. Since it will take 2 months or so to take delivery, I may just try and sell it privately, guess we will see what happens.

I noticed in my area, a base 2018 GT MT-82 is selling for around $32-$33k. New 2020's go for 35k.

I bought mine for $29k.

Would be neat if it turned into an appreciating collector.

I ordered a 2020 from the factory because there was very low to basically zero inventory of new or used GTs 18+. Low inventory equals high prices. Take advantage if you can.

Even from the beginning of the 18+ run the 15-17's were bringing higher than expected values for prime examples.

Yes, I have noticed this as well in the KBB prices. Used Cars and SUV's in particular have dramatically increased in priced.

As much as a any new car cost, they all need to keep some value.

I’m in the car business, so I’m well aware transaction prices on used have gone up, but I didn’t expect to see this much of a climb with the Mustang.

I found a used 2020 GT w/black accent package listed on Carvana for $2,000 more than the original new MSRP.

if you’re selling, it’s great. Just a terrible time to buy. Gotta wait it out, I guess.
