Great service from the GT101 team. Very helpful and knowledgeable, and the new cooler block appears to be very well made so good work Guy at Nemesis.

Fairly sure the Nemesis kit was not designed in house, but is done by another usual name in the modify your Mustang field.

It's the only kit I know of that has the oil take off from the existing place (using a new bock) instead of fitting a sandwich plate behind the oil filter which is not the best solution on RHD cars.

Nemesis just market and stick their label on, i believe.

We looked at every oil kit on the market for the Mustang and what was being made avaiable for the RHD market. With the design and manufacturing we have been working with a UK company that knows their stuff, as oil coolers are their specialty. All manufacturing / machining of the takeoff plates is done here in the UK.

We originally started out with a two port take off plate right off the block and was going to have a remote oil filter location. However, the factory RHD cast aluminium piece that runs from the block behind the steering rack to the factory water cooler matrix. This cast piece is also used as part of the engine mounting. So, to have a take off plate, engine mount spacers, remote thermostatic filter housing with x4 ports requiring twice the amount of fittings was going to work out quite expensive. We were then looking at the conventional RHD kits with a sandwich take off plate. I wasn't happy with this design. So, working on this we came up with the idea of a thermostatic take off plate from the original RHD oil cooler location eliminating less areas for failure and keeping costs down requiring less components. This was before we were made aware of a similar Australian equivalent design costing ÂŁ700+ Before Shipping, Import Duty & VAT.

This has then been tested for some time before fully being released to known Mustang garages that we work closely with to be able to professionally fit and assemble the kit. It may not be the cheapest on the market and we don't make a fat lot on it as all the components are very high quality being Aeroquip lines & Setrab Cooler Core. We haven't looked to make it the cheapest on the market but hopefully the best.

The main purpose of this kit was as a high performance product and is also an added bonus should you be worried about factory oil cooler failure completely eliminating the possibility of water entering into the oil system and a much less greater risk of oil blowing out externally.

That's what I look for, in a supplier/vendor.
I'll add I've always experienced good customer service from Nemesis too!

After driving it back home today in the heat at good speed, I can confirm the cooler works as it should. Stable oil temps and slightly cooler cylinder head temps. Job done, I can now use the car as god intended without the constant fear of terminal cooler failure out of warranty.

We will look at getting a listing sorted. We are just waiting on the latest batch of take off plates to finish engraving.

At the moment however, it is a recommended dealer supplied / fitted kit requiring professional installation with custom mounting and assembly of lines etc. Although this is all simple enough, we want to know it is installed correctly, because if it is installed wrong or not the right amount of oil added it could end badly for the engine and the product blamed even though it had been fitted incorrectly.

yeah it looks like a crack but thankfully its not. seems to be a very rough casting. There are a few marks on the sump that make it look like it was sand cast by Bronze Age men in a fire pit.

It's been a while since i've posted but in the last few months, i've added steeda lowering springs and painted them green to match my accent colours, added BMR sway bars and lock out cradle kit really impressed with the stance and feel of the handling upgrades, but need spacers so that the front tyres fill out the wheel arch more, either that or new alloys :like: .

i had a few issues using the wrong type of bushing grease at first as i used some pretty watery stuff so it was creaking like mad but got some recommended stuff and it's been sweet ever since.

Nice work Greg, I like you're style - because it looks a lot like mine haha

I now want my springs to be red!

If you're going spacers, IMO 23mm front and 20mm rear is the sweet spot.
