Based on this information, I called the dealership. They tracked down my car to Baldwin, FL. Which is just outside of Jacksonville, FL. Dealership is saying that it should be on their property between Monday and Wednesday of next week. At any rate, my schedule will not allow me to pick it up until next Friday (7-31-2020).
I looked at the Navy Fed. Their rate for a 6 year loan is very hard to beat. I have an appointment to talk to a loan officer at my local credit union that my wife and I have used for years. I'm hoping that they will match the Navy rate. We will see.Navy Federal Credit Union.
1.79% for up to 36 months. Rates go up for longer term loans
Edit to add:
I got the lead from Earl
Sorry about that, when I was updating my list, I incorrectly had you as delivered, it should have been Shipped Rail. I will repost when appropriate.Based on this information, I called the dealership. On the bright side, I found the correct member.Snoopy49,
Thank you for the clarification. I'm glad to know that the car wasnt dropped off at another dealership or something.
I did the Rockblokz like Jmeo and they work great. Had my first track event at COTA last weekend. Not a single black streak on either side of the car. Had some in other places, but the sides were clean. Highly recommend his approach.Yes, I am using the JLT Rock blockers, but I am more referring to the Rockblokz GT350 front flaps that I converted to fit our cars.
EDIT:
Here is the post from my build thread

I just reviewed his build page. Did I see that he had to sand the paint back to glue a plastic bracket?I did the Rockblokz like Jmeo and they work great. Tom, I did rough up the surface with a wire wheel just to help give the 2 stage epoxy a better chance to bite. The fender being composite, and not metal, will never rust, or will it be seen. You could just not do that if you prefer.I just reviewed his build page. Did I see that he had to sand the paint back to glue a plastic bracket?
He did, But I did not. I just cleaned the area with alcohol and it sticks fine (even at 160...).I just reviewed his build page. Did I see that he had to sand the paint back to glue a plastic bracket?
Thats good to know. I received the Jaeger brothers rock guards and as soon as i get the car, I'll decideHe did, But I did not. I just cleaned the area with alcohol and it sticks fine (even at 160...).
Try leaving the foam stripes off. I didn't install them on mine and I haven't had any debris in the rocker channel.Thats good to know. I received the Jaeger brothers rock guards and as soon as i get the car, I'll decide
The fender is pretty thick plastic, and mine didn't discolor at all when I glued in the bracket.I am not saying it will, but be careful on using epoxy or glues on composites/plastics of unknown makeup or even known makeup, even seen it on adhesive bonded metal. I have seen where ever the epoxy sits ends up showing through on the paint side because of chemical reactions...almost ghosting.
I swear by them. I have the Jaegers on both of my RsTry leaving the foam stripes off. I didn't install them on mine and I haven't had any debris in the rocker channel.
