Not in my Stang, but jamming to soundboard recordings of Black Sabbath live at Asbury Park (1975) with a glass of whisky.

I consider this a successful night.

https://www.warroom.com/quinn/ - IMO the best conservative radio show, a reformed liberal, and rock&roll DJ. Packs more in 90 minutes than the likes of Hannity or Rush do in an entire week of broadcasts. Been listening to him since '91 when he was on WRRK. And he loves his new C8.

Music-wise anything from Enya, Roxxette, to any of the 80's hair bands, to FFDP and the like.

I thought of you @kilobravo when I came across this. I was despairing of any Mustangs being included but there it was... Good tune to drive to nonetheless.

Oh my......Black Sabbath and Sir Lord Baltimore at the Long Beach Inn, NY, 1971. Still had my 66’ Fairlane GTA. Good times!

Yeah, it’s really a different listening experience. The feel is much more “present” versus other live recordings. I came about these CD’s in such a weird way, I don’t know if this was someone’s personal collection they pieced together or some limited release but it’s great listening.

Wow, THAT is awesome! What a time in history.

I saw “Sabbath” in 2004 I think when they did a reunion tour at Ozzfest. Needless to say, it was cool.. it was me and my dad, but Ozzy moreso cruised through the set in a pretty tame manner. I think he was still going through some addiction/rehab at that time (again..).

Compared to Iron Maiden, who I saw last year.. that ranks as one of my favorite concerts ever. Absolutely amazing.

I can say I am fortunate enough to still have seen a lot of great bands on the tail end or retirement end of their careers.

38 Special
Whitesnake
Marshall Tucker
Skynyrd
Sammy Hagar
Iron Maiden
Sabbath
Velvet Revolver (Scott Weiland from STP and Guns N Roses minus Axle Rose)
Ted Nugent (I left not knowing if I attended a political rally or a concert... hahaha)
Metallica
Santana
Hootie and the Blowfish (not exactly classic but it was well past their peak career)
Bonnie Raitt (did it for my mom... :))
The Eagles
Jimmy Buffet

Probably missing a few.

Thanks to you, I’m going to pull this out today and crank the volume. Amazing after 50 years how appropriate this song/album is today. :like::beer:

That's the one. But I was wrong, my wife corrected me. We saw Black Sabbath at OBI. Now that was an "interesting" place. :giggle:
