AND SHE'S BACK!!!

Felt so good to drive it again. Looked at the calendar and it has been exactly 3 days short of one year since it broke and I drove it last.

I wasted no time, and after I got it home I installed my meth tank.

Thank you guys! I appreciate everyone following the build.

Meth system to be installed tomorrow. Dyno tuning should be sometime next week! So far I've done one WOT pull for a datalog. Felt good and strong. Made 10psi at ~6700 with the 5psi spring in it and around 18* timing. Once I get the approval from Lund I can see if it can take any more and what itll make at 8k.

The wastegate is SCREAMING bleeding off all that boost at high rpm lol. I'd have liked the boost to be a little lower on spring pressure but it's not bad. An 8k pull will tell for sure but I think it will work ok for the failsafe.

Direct port is installed and leak tested!

Installed some heat wrap around the coolant lines since I had to relocate them to the sides they're no longer ran over the insulating foam. Didn't want the hot coolant hoses against the fuel line/fuel rail or melting the electrical under them. I don't particularly like the way the heat wrap looks though. I may put some black split loom over them or something.

Have to get some pics in better lighting but I love the way it looks, minus the tin foil wrapped hoses lol.

Loving this thing already. When test spraying on low duty cycle the entire manifold was COLD to the touch. It was awesome being able to feel the meth in action.

Snapped a pic of my cockpit. Cortex controller and AEM failsafe in the gauge pod. Injection activity and low tank level LEDs on the left. And the screen for my radar detector mounted on the vent. Love the way it all looks.

Couldn't find shit lol, even beating the exhaust with a mallet. I secured some stuff in the engine bay better. Nothing I really think could cause it but you never know.

Lund is going to "change the logic of the knock sensors" so it's not as big of an issue anymore. I resisted doing that for this long but I've had it with false knock lol

Don't you need 2 more quarts?
Only 8 needed for 15-17
Yeah only 8 for 15-17. However mine usually takes 8.5 for whatever reason.

mine needed the same thing on the knock. Lund adjusted no prob. Knock sensors still just as active as ever. Something about the headunit vibration transmitting through thr bracket. I had zero doubts about it and was 100% sure it was false.
