Just want to let you all know that we redesigned our braces (last year) to work properly with the A10 trans equipped 2018+ Mustangs.

Instead of adding parts to the kit to shim it for clearance, we revised our designs to fit the cars properly.

Thanks to all of you who support our operation and purpose!

Forgot to add, the revision to the CB006 also allows fitment for GT350s and all V8 equipped cars with GT350 / 18+ composite oil pans .

I assume this applies to the 18+ Ecoboost w/A10 also? I tried installing the Steeda 4-point brace, but it contacts the transmission, which causes problems. They have a 2 point brace made specifically for the EB w/A10, but no 4 point, and no plans to make one. I'm hoping this might be a viable option.

I ordered a CB006 from Amazon last night. I have not received it yet, but after reading this, I am worried that it's the old style and won't fit my 2019. This will be my first experience with BMR. I have to say that revising the part and not changing the name seems like a mistake. Hopefully I won't have to return it.

Well if its drop shipped form BMR then I expect it to the be the redesign. You should be fine.

Anytime BMR updates a products and you happen to get the previous version, they have always been good with sending you the updated version. Having different names for every revision would get confusing.

Just installed the newer style cb006 on my a10 PP 2018. There is next to zero clearance between it and the oil lines. I placed a little dynamat on top of the brace for the moment but next time I lift it I'll see if I can move the lines or wrap them. Feels great on the car anyhow.

Got the part yesterday and installed it in 30 minutes. Fits like a glove! It is the new version with the cutout for the oil-pan plug.

Will this fit and eco? I understand that the 18eco with the A10 sits lower than the ft with the A10

Not sure. Mine is a 2019 V8 MT and there was a ton of clearance.

Yes, they redesigned to fit the A10. Not knowing it wouldn’t work, I first tried the Steeda brace, but it contacted the transmission, and transmitted all engine vibration into the chassis, that was a nightmare. I droveit less than 3 minutes before doing a U-turn to take it off. I then ordered the BMR brace, and installed it on my 2019 EB A10, and it works like a champ. Love how it tightened up the front end.

I wish you offered both versions, as I believe the cutout in the center of the brace weakens it. I boxed mine in after running it as delivered and I can tell a difference. Better boxed.

I did have to push on my transmission lines and put a hose around them as they were hitting and rubbing the brace
