Equally importantly, if it does come to the U.K. what will the spec differences be?

Based on the Pp1 and Bullitt differences we have to assume there will be :
No Torsten diff
3.55 ratio
No extra coolers for diff and engine
Possibly no tremec but mt82 instead
Lower power numbers due to gpf
Probably no Handling Pack option because that splitter prob won’t pass our regs

So based on that, it’s not worth any more than any other well speced GT?

If we got the full monty HP for ÂŁ60k I can see ford selling a small number in the U.K. to hardcore enthusiasts with money to burn.
If they charge ÂŁ60k for a watered down street spec then I can see them selling none here.

Although they say "Global" right hand drive isn't mentioned as yet, I think a UK price tag of ÂŁ55K is out of my Budget, ÂŁ52K maybe, ÂŁ60K I dont think many will sell but it will be exclusive, perhaps more Limited than the Bullitt which really turned out to be a "Special" Limited Edition, I think 300+ in the UK at the last count. For me I don't think there's enough changes to make me swap from my Bullitt. On the other hand they say "Projected" 480hp, but could that be less for the RHD? if it was more that might make me change my mind especially as I don't think we will ever see a S550 Boss in the UK.

Ermm, Corvette C8 is coming here with few material modifications. Not sure why you think they couldn't give us the tremec for example?
If the Bullitt is selling for mid ÂŁ50k then this has to be worth ÂŁ65k. The Mach 1 looks much better and expected to be a track monster below the GT350. It's not all about BHP but how it puts the power down.

Compare the Export gt pp with the USA pp and you will see my rationale for assuming our export model car won’t get things like Torsen diff etc. If they get away with that, then why give us the more expensive gearbox?

Well lets see, all speculation at the moment.
If the Bullit flew off the shelves, then I can see the Mach 1 will as well even at circa ÂŁ65k. Assuming our version is not too diluted.
Times have changed, BMW are selling 2 series for ÂŁ75k!

The dealers are useless.
"You mean the Mach E?" No i mean the Mach 1. Sorry we only sell Ford cars.

If they receive the information from Ford then they can inform you. If they haven’t had anything then there’s not really much they can tell you!

This is absolutely correct.
In October 2017, when I walked into the dealer to place an order for the MY18.
The dealer had received no information whatsoever from Ford. No details, no pricing, no literature.
I knew more about the car than the unfortunate & slightly embarrassed salesman.
The ordering system didn't allow a MY18 order to be placed into it until Jan 18!

Through my Mustang ownership experience, I've seen a glimpse of how Ford treat their Franchises.
So I do have some sympathy, in certain contexts.

If the dealer doesn't know about an up coming product. It's very likely, Ford hasn't notified their dealers sufficiently or early enough. ime.

Journalists for horse and hound would be better informed than a U.K. ford dealer

During my time visiting the dealer it was me that informed them of both need for green and later on grabber lime - they weren’t offended in anyway and were also interested to see the pictures I had sourced from this site lol :like:

I hope it comes here and with most of the same spec, especially the Tremec. If it does, I'll order one.
