Took my 2016 6speed GT to the track, first time running this car. Only mod is corsa exhaust and 19x11 rear forgestars with 305 Michelin Pilot Super sports. It's a track pack car with the torsen rear end and 3.73 gears.
I launched holding about 2500 and slipping the clutch out, shifting aggressively right before redline but not trying to beat the crap out of it either. Didn't really do a burnout, more like a 2-3 second spin the dirt off after I drove around the water box. Also did not pay any attention to tire pressure.
Definitely room for improvement, what was a little concerning is I had a 2014GT Base in the past, with Roush exhaust and still the 18x8 wheels it ran 13.3 at 110. Same track, but this is June in South Florida and when I ran my 2014 it was in December.
Here's my time slip, let the roasting begin! (Jk, but any tips would be much appreciated and well received).
