If anyone is interested I just spoke to the dealer I got my 500 from. Kevin Lewis at Opelika Ford in Alabama. They have a allocation for another 500. There is no vin number yet. I paid a 5k markup on mine. One of my best here’s my money, car buying experience. If you call, tell him Jeff told you. I might get a couple bucks lol.

I had originally ordered in Jan before the world fell apart and put down a non refundable 2000 deposit. I talked to the salesperson and he has no trouble for me transferring it to someone else and all I am looking for is to recoup the 2000 that was nonrefundable for the deposit. Car has VIN assigned and is scheduled to be built mid-July for delivery in either late July to Aug

I think that if you find a buyer for the car, the dealer should refund your deposit.

If a buyer is found, the store should absolutely, positively refund the deposit.

If they won't, I think I'd take delivery and sell it myself if that's necessary.

I was very interested in this car if it had painted roof? Snoopy do you think there is any chance it could be changed? I am hoping for painted roof so I can do white Ott stripes
