so what are you doing with the cobrajet?
isn't that crazy...what trans is in the gt350...the stage7 t56 or th400It hasnāt been raced yet, itās a 2014. Power/whipple has been recently updated. After 35 + years of road racing I got the drag racing bug a couple of years ago (I started off drag racing in the early 80ās) and ended up with a hellcat, a demon and I converted my GT350 into a drag car. I have since sold the demon and gutted the hellcat turned that into a full time drag car. So without modifying the cobra jet itās slower than the GT350 and the hellcat, and a couple of drag cars is plenty.
Yeeeowch, I'm really sorry they did that. I'll echo others on getting your $ back, and they're probably going to have to strip your stripes when taking it off. For perspective, the guy who did mine talked to me for a full hour on the phone all about the intricacies of Shelby installs ('Oh man, make sure whoever does it pops off the fender emblems, and removes the wing to get up under the panels', etc), and I could tell he was obsessed with quality. He was so convincing I didn't even find another bid.Not happy how my ppf and stripes install came out. Iām hoping it can be fixed.
Switched to a th400 on the 8.2 run, but had some issues as it was built for the lighter, less powerful CJ. Transbrake didn't work correctly either. It was rebuilt over the winter and updated for the 350's power and weight.isn't that crazy...what trans is in the gt350...the stage7 t56 or th400
Velocity Blue. Very similar to Lightning, but not as much pop in the sun, with more pop on a cloudy day. What blue is that?
Pure awesome, and can't tell what you're talking about at a distance. I might've done the hood as well or cut out for black stripes, but those would be difficult to pull off solo.Well, its been about 9 months since I purchased my GT350 and for some reason yes, an all black car is sexy as hell. Also gets dirty as hell in about .3 seconds. Being that I was laid off for a couple of months, you could say i had some quality free time. Now i have never wrapped anything and if you get close to the car it shows. I need some more practice and am not sure how much wrapping I will be doing in the future, because i was ready to pull my hair out. takes a lot of patience and definitely makes you appreciate the art of the people that do it professionally. Being my first go I was surprised in 2 ways. One i was surprised how good a lot of the car looks and considering right now its a 15 foot car. Just stand 15 feet away and it looks fantastic. Two i'm not surprise at the parts that look not too good. But either way I'm happy for now and will get some panels redone by a professional for sure!
Looks nice ! Not to nitpick, but get yourself a Black "Sharpie" and work over your wheel weights.Cleaned her up and got the wheels cleaned.
Thatās a smart idea.Looks nice ! Not to nitpick, but get yourself a Black "Sharpie" and work over your wheel weights.
Must cost Ford too much $$$ to use black ones......
Weāve all done something like that.I am an idiot. There, I said it.
I spent an hour this evening under the car trying to find what sounded like a heat shield rattle. I only heard it when I started up the car, cold, in the garage (windows down). After moving the car outside I could not hear it. Even after having the car cool down and starting again in the driveway - nothing. I checked brake lines, fuel lines, cooler lines, exhaust brackets....nothing. I finally surrendered and pulled the car back in the garage. Before shutting it down, I rolled down the windows to convince myself the rattle had vanished. IT WAS BACK!
This time I got out of the car, while it was still in the garage and walked to the back of the car.
To my chagrin, I identified the source of the metallic buzz. It was my garage door vibrating from the sound of the exhaust.
This round is on me.
If the part that won't go in the sub frame is the spacer, the bolt that you install to hold the chassis brace won't stay tight as there is nothing to keep that sub frame from crushing down when you start driving and putting stress on it.I installed my front chassis brace today. No way the provided hardware thatās supposed to go inside the subframe was going in so I didnāt put that part in. Hopefully itās not a big deal.
