I'm looking into a VMP Gen2r and was wondering (might be a stupid question I am new to this sort of thing) if I can keep my stock 19x8s up front with the factory pirellis and run a 19x10 rim in the rear and get a nice grippy tire on those?
If so what Tire and rim would you suggest?
Thanks

Rims are a matter of taste. Tires I love my continental extreme contact dws 06. They look great are all weather and grab the road like it owes them money.

The answer is you can do whatever you want. Should you mix tire brands and types, absolutely not.

No mix.
I suggest a 19x10 front and 19x11 rear.
285mm front
305mm rear.

Tires depend from your weather amd your car usage. On top the budget of course

Yeah sorry, my response was a little short. Much better answer from Flyhalf regarding wheels. For tires my recommendation for maximum performance would be Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. If you're going FI all seasons are not going to cut it.

You're headed for the Kingdom of Over Steer.

5 :)
I'm selling one tho (a 19x11 ) cause I'm moving to 18x11
19x11 will be use for street usage
While 18x11 on track.
Then i also have the oem ones that i use 100miles :)
Inhave too many tires. But i bought them before the first race and then they cancel half season-.-
