Thanks Mark!Hey Tim, great video as are all your others. We really get to learn some new things with our cars.
You stated in your video there is no factory repair manual for the GT500 but I bought one a few months ago. It is for the 2020 Mustang and has all the specifics for repairing the GT500 also. It is in PDF form and about a 500 MB file. I buy all my manuals from Factory-Manuals.com. https://www.factory-manuals.com/expand-2020-ford-mustang-repair-manual-2047.html
Yes so many parts could help reduce weight on the car. Honestly this car at 3700lbs would be a force to be reckon withUgh, if only our subframes were aluminum...
But those parts bring a LOT of “goodness!” Take way some of those parts and you’ll lose some of the goodness. At 4100#, this car ROCKS!Yes so many parts could help reduce weight on the car. Honestly this car at 3700lbs would be a force to be reckon with
I use to get the Helm DVD's back in the day and they were quite expensive. It looks like the Ford Service Manual to me. I have them for my trucks and cars since 2006. I can post some pages of a particular repair if you want to see what it looks like. Thanks Mark!
Is this a factory workshop manual from Ford? I have paper copies of the Ford manuals for my various cars and plan to get a set for the 2020... didn’t know they were available already.
I appreciate it, but I’ll just buy a paper set to have.I use to get the Helm DVD's back in the day and they were quite expensive. It looks like the Ford Service Manual to me. Tim, I don't think they still make the paper shop manuals. I tried to get a set for my 2013 and they were not available.I appreciate it, but I’ll just buy a paper set to have.
Does it specifically cover the GT500, in addition to lesser variants?I use to get the Helm DVD's back in the day and they were quite expensive. It looks like the Ford Service Manual to me. Didn’t know the paper books were a thing of the past Earl. I like them not only for the information, but also like having them on a book rack in the garage as “memorabilia” for all of my cars. I have the books up through my 2011 GT500... I guess that’s where it will end.Tim, I don't think they still make the paper shop manuals. I tried to get a set for my 2013 and they were not available.
The only paper back shop manual available from Helm is the wiring diagram manual and it won't be available until 12/31/2020.

The advantage to the PDF manual is that it is searchable and you have the ability to print out any pages you want. This means that you can take the printed pages to your work area and not have to worry about getting them dirty.
Thank you sir... kind words! No one is going to comment on how awesome his workshop is + with the bad ass SN95 Shelby's and Fox Body's? It goes without mentioning how amazing the new GT500 is.
