Ordered one today. But the pre-painted have a pretty long lead time, so I won’t have anything for ya for awhile lol.

With the current situation that's understandable. But do update this thread when you get it installed, would be interested to see how it looks..

And what tune are you running btw ? Going by your username, looks like you're on E85

Just yesterday I discovered I have the dreaded hood corrosion. 55K miles, way out of warranty. If Mustang Week is still on this fall, I’m going to pre-order one painted if Cervini’s is showing up to save on shipping and hopefully a show discount.
I’m a 3 hour drive from the beach, so I’ll cruise up with the hood off and install it there.

Some day I'll get this, it looks so damn good. Of course that someday will probably be so far from now that I'll just end up buying an actual GT500

I thought the same thing when I ordered mine. We'll see how it looks, may pay to have it done in gloss black to match the Black Accent package on my car. Time will tell.

I am looking more into this hood, I like the Shelby Super Snake hood but it would just will blow air over my engine and is expensive for what it is. I do like how Cervini re-uses the some factory weatherstrips while other aftermarkets do not. I feel a bit safer that this is not ramming air into the car while moving with chance of hood flutter since I have a factory airbox anyway and this comes with a nice rain tray and the extractor is a separate piece vs some hoods that are one piece GT500 imitations.

I just sent a question to Cervini about the extractor drop down not showing gloss black because in the Cervini Blog announcement they did say "The heat extracting louver will be offered in matte black or gloss black when selecting the hood paint option"

A gloss black extractor will definitely match my upper and lower gloss black grill.

Can anyone speak to Cervini's paint matching? I'm sold on the hood, but cant decide if I want to order it painted or have it done locally.

I’ve heard it’s pretty good. I ordered the painted one, but my car has barely seen the sun it’s entire life. I think if you have any sun fade, etc it would be more risky.

Also, what material is the unpainted louver? Plastic? Metal?
