Now that the 2019 manufacturing is complete and Ford is getting ready to ship the 2020 model year, does anyone have access to production numbers for 19? I have seem on prior year summarys by color, options and separated by R and Non R builds. Any insight or is it still too early in the 2020 model for 2019 to be published?

As mentioned in other posts the official 2019 production numbers are still a couple of months away.

Having said that the highest chassis number that I am aware of for the 2019 R model is "KR799" with the VIN ending with "553362" therefore we know that close to or at least 800 R's were built for the 2019 MY.

Whatever the numbers end up being, is the 350 considered a 'rare' car, or just the R versions?

I don't think either will be considered rare since they're mass produced, although there are a lot fewer Rs.

Can we get confirmation on that? Like from an official Ford report. And is it confirmed that all R chassis numbers are sequential?

Like the 2012-13 Boss 302s, each model year GT350 was setup as a limited run program. I have a Ford communication for dealer registration released in 2018 stating that the 2020 GT500 would be limited to 5,000 units, ensuring about one per dealer that registered. It also states 2019 and 2020 GT350s would be limited to 2800 total production. R models were speculated to be 10-20%.

2019 was an odd model year due to the Mexican parts plant strike. Recalling recent history, all 2012 Boss 302s were made in 2011; all 2013 Boss 302s were made in 2012. Just for those of you that might be interested, my GT350R's birth comprised the following actual events:

09/17/18: I received an email offering me the ability to purchase a GT350R. It estimated delivery in February 2019.
09/30/18: I agreed to the purchase via email
10/02/18: My GT350R order was confirmed via email. In a follow-up phone conversation, I was told "it might be a little later than February".
01/17/19: I was told production of GT350s would begin on April 1st due to the strike in Mexico.
03/12/19: I sent an email to request the addition of the carbon fiber dash.
03/12/19: Ford said no, explaining my VIN had been assigned and my car was serialized for production, reconfirming production commencement on April 1st.
04/03/19: I was given a URL, and saw my window sticker for the first time, with estimated build date May 27.
04/15/19: The window sticker website said delivery changed to TBD
04/15-05/012019: Calls to the dealer and the program administrator resulted in an explanation that delays in steering wheels, steering gear, carbon fiber parts and "some other GT350 specific components". MCA friends closer to Ford than I suggested that Ford was retooling to use the same block for the GT350 and GT500.
05/10/19: The program administrator told me verbally that my car had indeed been built but was waiting for GT350 specific parts, and had been transported by rail to a final assembly facility near Pittsburgh, PA.
06/29/19: At the MCA National Show in Minneapolis, MN I noticed a 2019 GT350R in Velocity Blue on the show field. The car's VIN was one number later than mine, and chassis # one number later than mine. It turns out it belonged to a fellow MCA Director from the midwest that I knew. We talked. First we marveled that 2 identical 2019 GT350Rs were sequential and went to 2 people that knew each other. Then we talked about the delay. He got the same story from his dealer that his car went to a final assembly facility, and got on the horn to every Ford exec he knew demanding his car be released.
07/01/19: I called the program admin and complained that the 2020s would be out by the time I received my car.
07/08/19: I was assured my car would be shipped in a week or two
07/22/19: The dealer called me to say my car would arrive by the first weekend in August (which was not convenient for me)
08/01/19: As I was driving to the airport for the MCA Board of Directors meeting, the dealer called saying the car arrived on 07/30/19. I instructed them to keep it inside - which they did.
08/08/19: I took delivery of KR072

Due to all of the above facts, I'd venture to say that the delays affected production

It was months ago when stated the production numbers would not be known for months

Are those figures up at this time?

Also, has anyone heard of ANY 2019 that didn't have the new gt500 block? This says in April of 2019 they may of been still fooling with the idea

Interesting they said they would do the higher limit on the gt500 then gt350. Maybe as a 6th year car, they thought demand would be dropping?

When you ask that all R chassis numbers are sequential I am not sure what your question is but if "KR799" (VIN K5553362) is that very last 2019 R model for that model year I can confirm that there were 798 R models built ahead of it and possibly over 800 R's built for the 2019 MY?

Once FP officially issues all of the 2019 GT350/R production numbers by various options we will then be able to break down all of the production numbers a great deal further.

Getting back to the 2012/2013 Boss 302 & Laguna Seca production numbers it should be noted that there were many 2012 Boss 302/LS cars built in 2010 just as there were many 2013 Boss 302/LS cars that were built in 2011 all of which are included in the official production numbers from FP.

Getting back to the 2019 GT350/R production numbers of ~2800 cars in total I would suggest that with ~800 R models built for the 2019 MY the projected production numbers of ~2800 cars in total will be well exceeded once the official numbers are released.

When I called them about 2019 numbers they said probably April.

With COVID-19 running amok who knows?

Here is the link for those numbers and it still stops at 2018:

Did anyone get the build sheet table that shows 2019 options, colors, by model?

My car was delivered on 9/1/2019, I didn’t order it, just searched the internet for it over Labor Day weekend. I know it was delivered that day because the sales rep who contacted me on Labor Day said he’d be happy to meet me at the dealer on Monday, Labor Day, to show it to me but I would have to overlook the conditioned since it just arrived. I went to see it on Labor Day and it was filthy from just being removed from the hauler, but that didn’t matter. I made a deal a day or two later and took delivery of KR785 on 9/7/2019. So how is it possible that @ShelBoss took delivery of a chassis number that is 813 numbers before mine. If they are sequential I would have guessed he would have been given a much later number. I understand he ordered in Oct 2018, which the chassis number would make sense but is he saying all R’s were this delayed in shipping? I’m not debating anything just curious and asking a question.
