Anyone tested 3.5 collectors with full 3.5 exhaust vs 3.5 collectors with 3.0 exhaust at 1khp? Can't imagine there would be a notable difference.
At 1000whp the 3" collector is fine. When going for 1200-1400whp as @turnswrench is headed towards with a built engine, you need bigger.

Keep in mind it takes power to spin the blower also. With my car making 1300whp its probably losing 150hp to drive the blower and another 150hp through the drivetrain. The engine is pumping 1600hp worth of air and needs the headers sized to that number, not the whp.

If you can get the exhaust gas out fast enough the engine lowers boost by a good amount. Once the horsepower gets towards the 1500hp range, it's all fender exit, hood exit, zoomies, ect.

My new engine will be together soon, I plan on testing X vs H then adding in 3.5 collectors.

Nth Moto in Shakopee, MN. They build some of the fastest gen v vipers on the planet. They exclusively run One Ethanol e85r.

I'm not sure tbh. They handle pails and barrels. You may want to tap them on facebook. They are solid guys, but may not be able to ship. Surprised you can't find it there. There are some good shops around Chicago.

It's been productive!

Cleaned the "winter" out of my wife's jeep:

Started an instagram account and learned to post something. I thoroughly hate it, but if you want to follow the same thing you read here - search for turnswrench.

I got a sweet delivery from Beefcake and immediately installed them, there's also comparison pics from the 1700x and DW 95lbs:

Here's the first fire video if you would like to see:

Why was it struggling to start and stay running? Pretty cold and E85 with big injectors not real happy in the cold?

I primed to system a couple times before starting using the door but it didnt have full pressure. I imagine some fuel was sitting on top of the valves from swapping the injectors. I also loaded a new tune. Once it started to learn the new stft it ran well.

Today was mustang bath day. I used a synthetic clay bar to remove the contaminants from the cage work and paint. Got her all polished up afterward. I even waxed the jams! She's stunning. Royal Crimson needs a good camera to capture the dynamic ability of this paint, and my cell phone is not a good camera. That engine bay looks like Medusa, tho!

Dumb question, did you come up with a way to get rid of the air bag light after the Kirkey install or are you planning on it?
Car looks so damn good man!
