Slow day at work. What are your favorite songs to drive (a bit faster) to? Enter Sandman, Holy Diver, and Shout at the Devil come to mind for me. RHCP has lots of great songs. I love me some Led Zeppelin, but nothing gets me driving faster.

If anyone says Sweet Caroline or anything cheesy, hand over your man card ASAP!

Me thinks that's a generational question, RJ.

For me, Floyd's "Breathe," Deep Purple's "Highway Star," and the Cars "Just What I Needed" come to mind. :-)
Love it! You reminded me of Smoke on the Water. I'm cool with generational. To each his own, except new country!

But "Smoke" isn't a driving song and I thought those were what you wanted. <smile> I bet I've played "Smoke" a thousand times. <grin>

Been told I do a fair job of air guitar and air drums, too. <laughing>

I seem to drive fast regardless of what song is playing... some ads (Viagra) will even get my leg stretchered out to get home (non pun intended). LOL

Too funny, Andy!

We probably ALL wear Lead Boots as Mr. Daltry once sang but, I really AM trying to watch myself in the new girl because it is ridiculously easy to go too fast in her. Cruise helps and I know that's anathema around here but if I miss getting another ticket, it's worth it.

Of course I had to upgrade the ESM and this time went with a Uniden R3 because, even being a previous model year's product, it still gets glowing reviews. Plus, it works REALLY well and unlike every other one I've had, and there have been many, it does NOT annoy you. Highly-recommended and if it saves me just ONE ticket, it will have paid for itself.

Now, if I can just figure out the pos and neg in the mirror so I don't have to use the power plug. <chuckling> (Looking for my meter.) :-)

"Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva is good for driving fast.
"Midnight City" by M83 and "Red Lights" (Fred Falke remix) by Tiesto are good cruising songs.

Yeah, true "smoke" might not be for some. But, you played it a thousand times driving? lol.
It's all subjective. I would like to know others favorites so I can add to my list.
Long Cool Women in a Black dress, American Women and Radar Love are great ones!

FIVEOH: No, not a thousand while driving but believe it or not, folks used to listen to music via recorded VINYL disks! <smile>

All good choices on the second round although "LCW" isn't a particularly good driving song, either. ;--)

Yeah, I know. Listened to 8 Tracks and VINYL as a kid.

East Bound and Down and Convoy! Please tell me those aren't driving songs.
