I have a 2018 royal crimson PP 1 2018 10spd with an Atak catback and steeda lowering springs.
Got the car in October 2018 I own around 28-29k on it. I pay 540 a month and put a decent amount down on it. Has anyone bitten the bullet and traded for a manual? Did you regret it? Thanks

Hope you get a good amount for what you still owe on it. I hate rolling negative equity into a new car loan. Royal Crimson is one of my favorite colors. I would of gotten that color over my ingot silver when I got mine Oct 2018. Too bad it was a one year color option.

have you test driven a 6 speed manual yet? I would before committing to it.

I don't buy new cars. The first owner takes it in the shorts on depreciation. Plus what Zinc03svt says....OMG. I might add an F to that.

I will third it and say financially you need to hold out a little bit longer until your cost to own drops. What I generally do is take the number I paid for the car and then minus the number I’m selling the car. Divide that by the number of months I have owned the car. If the number I come up with is high and I would never consider owning that car for that amount of money I hold onto it until the number is where I want.

for example my 2016 Gt I bought for 28k sold for 22k I had it for 20 months meaning my actual cost to own the car was 300 dollars a month.
300 dollars a month to me was reasonable for that vehicle. If that number was 5-600 I would have kept it until they lined up.
Just my .02 cents from a financial stand point.

keep the 2018 for a little while longer and buy a used 6 Spd down the road

The 10 speed is faster and you would e financially upside down. Why do this ? If you want a Manuel maybe go 2017 and save some $$ given the situation since not a huge diff speed wise with manuals and 2017 -2018s and up

I love the MT-82.. dunno why you guys harp on it so much. Yeah yeah I heard it all, learn to drive it properly, and you'll love it. Why do you think Porsche brought back the manual for 2020 haha.

!I have a new one and it is 6 speed, and I have to ask why would you do this? The really big question is why do you need a manual now? Many will say the speed auto is faster and that is true when comparing apple to apple.

The MT-82 is a POS. I’ll never own another.

Now, if they had a Tremec option, I’d sell my 6R80 car ASAP for one....
