So I heard in YouTube the MBRP Race, Street, and the Borla systems. I am thinking the Atak sounds good and might be a tad more refined than the MBRP system (race).
I am thinking for going for the race because it is loud and it’s inexpensive.

Any thoughts or ideas I am new to the 5.0 and Mustangs and have only researched for a day or two.

Are there any other systems I should be looking at?

AWE Touring catback. Touring has no business in the name. The only thing touring about it is the lack of any drone. Borla ATAK and Corsa Xtreme also sound amazing.

I’ve got the non active Atak it’s pretty loud very throaty kinda quite in normal when driving around but put it in sport you’ll get the pops and crackles and a whole lot of rasp. It’s expensive but there’s no drone. The race is probably just as loud if not louder but like you said the Atak is a more clean loudness. I’ve gotten plenty of compliments on it. If you have close neighbors and go to work early I wouldn’t get it the cold starts are very loud.

Another vote for Borla Atak here

I have it on mine and love it. Deeper than most systems. No drone and I don’t find it to be raspy at all...and that is what I was trying to avoid.

I've had Corsa Xtreme, Borla ATAK and AWE Touring. The latter is the most impressive to me. All are fantastic and loud exhausts and you can't go wrong.

AWE track might be the way to go also.
Still up in the air with the MBRP Race, Outlaw, and the Atak and the Awe Track.

The Track will drone, and isn't any louder than the touring. Touring is loud.

Roush. There's a reason why so many Mustangs have a Roush exhaust. It is pretty loud, has a nice rumble, and on the cheaper side of exhaust setups. Only thing about Corsa is they act like it's made of gold. So expensive.

My '14 has a Roush setup that has gotten tons of compliments. My buddies '18 has a Roush setup that has gotten compliments as well.

Borla ATAK, hands down for me, mine turns heads and gets the thumbs up where-ever I go. AWE Track cat-back is a close 2nd.
