Ruby red 2019 GT Premium.
According to drag times DA was -2600. Ive never seen a number that low before. That DA was in the morning. It was -350 in the evening.
So it won't make any more power stock.

I think that's the highest mph I have seen so far on a stock gt500. If this is Stangmode he has tires and a res delete, otherwise bone stock. I would like to know the 60 ft time.

He likely could have run this with the car 100% stock, but since he changed tires and did the res delete he is no longer stock IMO. Good job but not stock. I think Speed Phenom still has the bone stock record.

I agree, I think the stock tires are just fine for the stock power level in this car. Fastest time so far the 10.61 was stock tires and so was Speed P. 10.66

They are not drag radials.
I believe they are the Toyo triple 8 tires.

Fastest time was 10.64
Fastest mph was 134.7
Seats and air box lid were removed.
Highest rpm launch was 3000 rpm

Sounds like a lot of changes to go slower than a kid that's never drag raced before.

Stangmode also took the rear seats out.

not strictly stock runs.
But no power mods.

Heres the slip from the longer version of the above video. He was getting 1.7s on ever pass. Trap speeds were between 133 and just short of 135.

The toyo R888R is 5 lbs heavier than the Michelin pilot sport cup 2, thats 10 lbs of extra rotating mass. Some say thats like 100lbs of unsprung weight. For someone who cares so much about weight thats kind of a dumb choice, those R888R's are not cheap either. I don't think the R888R in a 30 aspect ratio and 20 inch rim is going to gain any appreciable straight line traction performance, if any at all, when compared to a pilot sport cup 2. Having the tire pressure far off or getting too much heat into them during the burn out would have more of an effect on traction, on these street/ road course oriented tires. He should go back to the stock tires, they were fine for the purpose of the car, actually better IMO.

damn i knew i should have went to test and tune over the weekend.. think it was this past weekend.. i cant run till i get my half shafts in but ,always nice to get the blood going being there

Yeah very impressive mph, the DCT really does help with that. Just goes to show that mph doesn’t always mean a faster ET.
