I can understand the oil catch, wicker bills and gurney flap because they are a "track only" option.
What I can't get behind is the front splitter. This is NOT an option, this is 100% part of the car, and it should be installed without question. I mention this because I have heard of dealerships charging to install it.
BY what was in the paragraph above, it was stating the wicker part of the front splitter. Not the actual splitter. At least that is how I understood it.
Well it kinda comes across as just another way for the dealer to charge you by the hour for the installation of all these items. I can see it now. You walk out into their garage bay and some kid is sitting on the floor reading the installation instructions. You walk up and say how's it going and you hear this. "Gee wiz I never did this before but don't worry we'll get it figured out", can you come back tomorrow and pick it up"????? You say, what do you charge for these 3 items to be installed (rear gurney flap, oil catch can, and front wicker splitters) he answers: "All I know sir is we charge $90 per hour but I have no idea how long its going to take me".
