I'm sure that more than a few 35 and unders have their pony cars registered in their parents name(s) for insurance purposes.
Oh I guarantee it. I had 3 muscle cars before my 20th birthday. But I had to foot the insurance bill. Pop knew he’d get sued if he got insurance for me thru his name.:explode:

Well, I'm back. Here's what the data says....Corvette owners are older. But Z06 / ZR1 owners are a bit younger than Stingray drivers. I'm going to very subjectively state that Grand Sport drivers probably belong more in the Z06/ZR1 column, but since I split all of the data by engine, I can't split Grand Sport out from Stingray. Meaning that the Stingray age is likely even older than my chart shows.

RED = most represented age range.
GREEN = 2nd most represented age band. Helps to show where the "leaning" really is.
GOLD = % of registrations by owners under 55.

My biggest surprise? Charger. A lot of this is because all of the vehicles have "Age Unknown" at rates of 18 - 24% of total registrations. I eliminated those for the analysis. Charger, because of their high rental and government fleet sales, was over 70% age not known. That may have skewed the data a bit, taking out 70% of their registrations.

OK....have at it :punch:
Here you get a Lollipop for all of your hard work.

Now if you want to work a little harder and move up her/the scale....then....you know what to do.

This thread and comparisons makes even less sense than swapping a 7.3 engine in a mustang.... LOL

Ford lost $1.7 billion in the fourth quarter and just had a big management shakeup. Guy in charge now is big electric and autonomous fan. Better buy that GT500 while you can.

Wouldn't it make more sense to benchmark around the 488....Didn't they stop making the 458 in 2015?
488 is twin turbo mid-engine. 458 is a high revving naturally aspirated V8. I'm taking that as a hint.
