This makes me sleepy, next week 9.6's claiming a world record, How many countrys do you think these cars are sold in? With the technology today should we be surprised? 9.7 is fast but you can go to a dealer and buy a number of cars that will get you there if you have the pockets.I say congrats and lets move on.

Wonder what it will take to hang with the quick GTs that have blowers. I think if Ford wants the new GT500 to compete in the 1/4 mile they should build a Drag Pack car. No need for a lot of the heavy stuff that is now bolted on for road course duties.

Ford already makes a drag strip only Mustang "Cobra Jet". The Shelby GT500 uses the same engine
