Agree. I would add to your point about the warranty. If it will run 10s with a great driving and safe Roush tune, it is pretty darn good.

Kind of circular argument on these kits... People want a warranty. A real warranty. From the manufacturer. Doesn't matter what one person's (it is at this point one person) time is. "But it's slow in comparison to (plug in a non warrantied modded car)!!" I'd guess this will beat an EB on a canned tune.

My DA was pretty high. Around 3000. There are no GT's with boltons running 124mph here in AZ.. Hell, most stock GT's hit about 109 to 112 here in the summer.

Maybe someone (company) can design a better heat exchanger for the Roush supercharger. I believe VMP (could be wrong on this) made an updated heat exhcanger for either the GT500 or one of the other superchargers that was a drop in but was better at exchanging heat. That might be a possibility that could help, but someone has to actually look at the design of it to see if it can be improved on without external modifications.

11.4 in 3000 DA is not bad. Based on a DA calculator, that would be 10.9 at sea level. In my area, the best we see is around 1000-1500. Probably looking at 11.2.

As to jm's point, I haven't seen a stage 1 EB with the EB canned tune do any better. They may run back to back more consistently but likely no better on the first run when both are reasonably cool.

It still seems to me that the most effective way to combat heat is with an ice tank. A 7 gallon tank mounted in the trunk running water with no ice would be better than stock due to the addition of more water. Lethal performance demonstrated that.

No, but I am running wider street tires and not on the stock 245s. Still spins 3rd at around 95 a bit and 1st and 2nd are completely useless (Mt82)

It's all about the tire compound. I run R rated tires, lowered, and have coil overs. No hop and if it's above 70 very little spin from a dig or in any gear. Also MT82? That makes a huge difference also. Really impressed you're able to stick with hellcats with MT82. Reading what you're doing I'm feeling good about phase 2

lol, that's awesome. Toyo R888R. Very sticky for the street but a modded gt500 just ran 9's running them so I would assume pretty good at the strip also.

The selling of trucks doesn't surprise me. I am surprised that they would sell more Mustangs with Roush kits than Edelbrock since the EB kit offers more power and also a 3/36 warranty. For what it is worth, my local Roush dealership, who will install whatever the customer wants, installs more Whipples than anything else.

I saw LFP's video not too long ago and they are loaded with trucks and Mustangs getting the Roush supercharger. It's keeping them pretty busy.
One of the trucks they showed/talked about had a Whipple installed, but without a warranty.

Nice. I just picked up a new pair of 315/35/20 Nitto NT05s on ebay for $400 bucks. I'm currently on 305 Nitto NT555G2 and they are crap traction wise. The NT05s seem to have some good reviews and can't beat the price. Those Toyos in the size I want were around $900 for the pair.
