So many different aftermarket intakes out there. I'm trying to see which is the best product.

Stock with drop in filter. There, made it easier for you.

Agreed. Stock is going to have the best air temps.. at maybe the cost of a few hp at the top end of the tach with an aftermarket open element. And your going to be pulling in hot under hood air at a stop and low speeds otherwise. Just my 2¢

So brings up a question I've been trying to figure out....
I have a 2019 GT and want to maintain the daily driver.

What difference would the 2015-2017 PP3 components ie Bullitt / GT350 set up (CAI, Throttle, Intake) make?
Should I add the Steeda CAI vice the Ford Performance CAI?
Custom Tune?
Or am I going in the wrong direction?
Any recommendations?

Basically, wanting to get to 500hp, but not sure which path to take.
Lots of opinions and hyperbole out there.

If you are talking about 500 rwhp, You can just about hit that with E85, full exhaust, and a dialed in tune.

Roush is good if you want a closed air box which can help prevent heat soak. Also the Roush intake doesn't require a tune, so if you want to gain 5-10 HP without voiding your warranty that's an option. I see a lot of people getting really good results with a JLT intake, but it does require a tune. I personally have a drop-in filter until I can scrap up enough money to throw on a supercharger, then I'll get an intake. I don't really think I need a CAI right now since I'm all show and no go currently lol.

Keep the bonnet closed during and in between runs. Let's see how much that JLT heats up despite the fact that you will have fans blowing directly at the bumper openings.

The JLT is only about 2-3 degrees above ambient when moving at highway speeds.

Exactly, it is no surprise an open air filter dynos more than a box with the hood up. Lol.

True.
However i run on roadcourse with continuous air moving.
Plus i have big hood vents.
However because of this
I will create a cover to "seal" the JLT. Like a plexiglass cover. (I know people use the filter mesh but i lile the idea of free flow and also better heat sealing)
I'm corner balance the car next week.
Amd i will dyno test right after.
