I have found a good deal on a used 2018 GT Convertible with less than 400 miles on it. The ownership checks out as does the Carfax. It has pretty much everything I would want except the color (it's white with Ceramic and black interior). Would you let the color stop you? It is not a CS edition so no stripes.

I feel like it's to be expected when going for a used car to not get everything you want. Not only buying new but ordering has spoiled me, get absolutely everything I want how I want it.

Colour is, for me anyways, extremely important. It's the first thing you see when you look at your car. If it's not the colour I envision when I think of the car, I would not want it. Certain colours work better with the body lines than others. The second most important thing for me is the wheel choice. Colour and wheels make a huge difference.

If it has everything i want except a color and the prefect price i can live with it. I did not want a black car but my last car was black. It was new but i couldnt pass up the price and 0for72 months. ended up falling in love with fords Tuxedo Black on that ST. It would have to be a banging deal for me to get white or silver as those are my least favorite colors on a car. You could always wrap it in any color you want if its that good of a deal and bothers you that much.

Color is crucial.

I really wasn't looking for black. But it was so hard finding all the other bits and bobs I wanted, I decided it wasn't important enough to keep looking.

Before wraps came along absolutely if the car was not a color I liked it was a no go. Now just wrap it if it is a good deal and has everything you want.

Absolutely.

Unless You have 5k to respray/wrap it.

Changing the color also risks your resale as the new owner will logically assume the car was in a wreck you didn't report why you changed the color, with the panel fitment issues all s550s come with its gonna be hard to disprove that.

Just be patient buy the car u want with all the options and color you want, you have to drive it everyday and pay for it every month. You also will spend about 30% of your time in it so why settle?

When I first started looking at Mustangs, the last thing I wanted was a red one. This one popped up at a nearby dealer at a starting price not to be passed up ($10K off the top). ..................Then I saw her face..................

That's a 2018 Pony Package Grille. And Lacanteen, if you ever find yourself unhappy with that grille, I'll take it off your hands. ;-)

That grille is part of the Pony Package ("Pony in the corral") that also included the chrome trim around side windows, the pony floor mats that I didn't get (but I did get the premium mats with matched stitching), the tribar pony on the rear deck lid, and the 19" aluminum wheels.

At first I didn't care for it but embraced it when I found out is was part of a special package. I still favor the CS style grille but that would be blasphemous on an EcoBoost as are big stripes over the roof IMO.

Wear it with pride. Ford sure prices it with pride.
