Currently running Pirelli’s in 315/35/20 and it’s time for rear tires and plus the car is getting a whipple Gen 5. Looking for the best street/radial tires for 700+ Whp (A10) Car

The car see very few rain days and it’s not my daily driver. I do a lot of rolls if that helps any lol

Mickey Thompson ET Street SS will hook the best out of any other tire available in 20", at the compromise of being worse than any other 20" tire in the rain, and having the shortest lifespan out of any other 20" tire.

If you want something with a little less compromise, go with an R888R or NT05R.

Or even less than those, the NT555R will be even closer to a street tire in terms of driveability, life, etc., and still hooks pretty well.

Nitto 555R’s 305/35/20 by far the best drag radial for the street that hooks real well, not a death trap in rain, handles quite well and doesn’t sway, and wears pretty well. I’m at 700whp on my 17 GT and absolutely love them. I run these on my wife’s Hellcat too and it’s night and day difference.

I concur with the exact same tire on a 631 RWHP TVS setup. And yes it will have some manners in medium rain. Not been caught out in an all out down pour on them.

I had 555r’s. They would be my go to tire for a daily driver. I don’t daily my car. So I have ET street R’s. Best traction. Terrible in any kinda weather other than sunny and 75.

My 2019 is my daily driver, and I have 599 rwhp. I run Nitto NT555, 305/35/20 in the rear. For the price, a very good tire but you have to be cautious in the rain. Best all around street tire is probably the Michelin PS4 but they cost about twice as much.

I'm planning a Vortech JT trim build in late Spring. Is anyone boosted running the Firehawk Indy 500's(not the older wide oval models)? They look like they may hook up in warmer temps depending on RWHP numbers. I was looking to run the 305/35/20's for street use.

Really good info above. Nitto NT55R did well at around 740hp and can still handle rain. If the car never sees rain I would do Mickey Thompson et street ss. Never tried the R88R so I cant tell you anything about those personally. - Anthony Velgen

I`m looking too. I have the Toyo Proxes 4 plus with about 630 rwhp i`m spinning into 4th. I looking for a tire that will fill my wheel gap a little as i`m not lowered but still fit my 20x9 roush wheels. I never track it or drive it in the rain. Just holding traction in 3rd would be great. Did you guys do just rears or all 4?

I have them, they dont hook below 60 when it's cold outside. This past summer they hooked up pretty well tho.
