Nice. Will it come as a complete stage 1&2 kit with larger heat exchanger ports or just as a tuner kit where we have to mod everything?

Am I correct to assume that the larger volume means it takes more rpm for the boost to kick in?

Forgive me for asking a bit of a possibly silly question. With a plenum that big, does it deaden the throttle response? In other words, does it take longer to build boost once you get on the throttle (e.g. once the bypass valve is closed)? I know it's not a turbo, and they are totally different worlds, but I thought I read something about that when people were referring to the huge KB blowers.

Nevertheless, having a supercharger with more volume than an entire V6 is pretty cool!

We're still not sure of how it's going to be offered. As we get more info we'll be sure to share it with the group.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

No. That's a Gen 5 3.0L. There have been non 3.8L's produced yet.

No. Whipple uses a twin screw supercharger which means it makes boost instantly. Yes boost will typically peak at the top of the rpm range but it will make most of it's boost once that throttle hits the floor.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

The twin screw design of a Whipple makes boost instantly. So as soon as that throttle opens up it's making steam and will continue to all the way to the top of the rpm range. There's no delay at all or needing to build rpms to build boost like other setups.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks, Jared

Thank you for the explanation. Do you think Whipple will publish the compressor maps for it? I'm curious how it compares the the Eaton 2650 pack, which is supposedly pretty efficient.
