Don, they did the same to my car. Was unloaded from the railcar at the delivery point in Missouri last Monday. Sat for a week and now they claim Ford put a hold on it.
Wonderful...

Gorgeous....looks nothing like my GT but I am still sure she won’t be able to tell .
Lol
That's why the wife never gets to look in the gun safe. To her it's only a pistol or rifle she sees every once in a while. LOL. Adding a second safe may be too much of a clue I have acquired a few guns in our 28 years together. Safe one is completely full.

I won't be able to hide the GT500 though. So I went ahead and told her I put down a deposit on a slim chance of an allocation in the next year or so.

That does not sound like a good thing. Hopefully not a stop sale like the GT350 had.

Well, my car is at the rail yard in Mesquite, TX, and the dealer is trying to get it. However, the rail yard informed them that they received a “Stop Shipment” order from Ford. So they won’t release it. In the database, it shows as “In Transit.”
Noah said he didn’t see anything on his end.....
Anyone know about this?

Hint: they make some pretty cool hidden storage things (mantels, etc.) that work well for 'extra' guns. I know your pain, my safe is overfull and I don't want another, yet the guns keep following me home. A buddy calls me John Wick.

My dealer told me the Stop Ship order number is: SAQ2019544133
He hasn’t found any other details.

I like to disassemble things.
I take it the railyard was given that number from Ford and that somebody at the railyard shared it with your dealer. My dealer has never been given a "stop shipment order number" before.

The way he told me, he was reading it from a database. He said a Stop Shipment Order normally has a specific reason associated with it: e.g. “The during certain periods of production, workers may have used the incorrect bolt on the xx bracket. Please check before delivery.”
He said unless it’s linked to a recall (which they can clearly see), its normally something minor. Noah@FP gave me the same line.
But most often, they give the car to the dealer to worry about, without an MSO, so it can’t be sold until lifted. Yours has been on hold a week already, and your Blend Date was a month earlier than mine. So who knows....

Maybe yours accidentally shipped and they didn't install the updated hardware.

After seeing ALL the things that get checked before Release Tom, I'd be very surprised if that occurred. But, I know the situation is alarming for these two gents. Now, the question is, has the last foot fallen?

Dealer just called me after his Regional Rep looked into it. The cars have an issue, however minor, that must be attended to. Sounds like cars that were delivered may be called back to the dealer. More on this tomorrow.

Well, at least it's "minor" E and hopefully, they'll cut her loose so Service can quickly do whatever it is that needs done. Again, the lawyers were probably involved. :-)

Hope you're sitting in her REAL soon, amigo.

I’m still not seeing that there is going to be a 2021GT500. Has Ford released that information?
