Are these going to increase the downforce of the car? Also have they been tested at the track for high speed events? Asking because it seems like a hassle to keep having to take them off and on all the time.

I read an interesting article interviewing the designer of the challenger.
Those bumpers are transport only items used to protect the splitters during delivery. Similar to the plastic wrap on the wheels.

He was very adamant that he HATED the fact that people are leaving them on as a fashion accessory.

Clearly a lot of R&D went into this application, disappointing that they will not work for standard GTs though. How about a group buy offer.

From the looks of it I can install it on the leading edge of my convertible top to prevent it from hurting my head while the top closes. No charge for that idea.

Yeah and I have had a friend end up with ruined paint after he removed the cover from a Charger S/P. after sporting it for a bit too long. Also in the dodge forums, others have had the same issue, I am not sure it is much of an issue with a Challenger since its on a plastic chin spoiler, but however the Charger chin area is a painted surface and has had resulted in flaking off.
