Since the Mustang GT PP1 and PP2 have the larger 15" Brembo bakes up front, I thought it would be good to have a place to show the rims that fit and to see how great they look.

If you have a Mustang GT PP1 or PP2 or have Mustang with 15" Brembos on the front, show us your wheels!!!

NOTE: I was under the impression that the brakes got larger in 2018. If you have any S550 Mustang with the big 15" Brembo brakes with aftermarket wheels, please share them with us!!!

If you know, please indicate:

Rim Manufacturer
Model
Rim Diameter
Rim Width
Rim Offset

thanks

I just put 19" SVE S350's on, staggered. I have a set of R357s too for summer, but haven't gotten them out of the box. The tires on the back are 325/30 and the front is 255/40, hence the stretch.

That looks great!!

I love how the black rims ties in with the other black accents and roof. Looks like a sweet ride.

What size rims are those (dia x width x offset)?

Thanks! I wasn't sure how all the black would work with Velocity blue, but am pleased with it. Thinking dual glossy black stripes too, in the near future. Rims are 19x10 and 19x11.

Not trying to crap on your thread, but 2018 and after Mustang GTPP1 and PP2 have exactly the same brakes up front as 15-17.

I was under the impression the 15-17 had slightly smaller brakes.

If they do in fact have 15" Brembos, then show those too.

I updated the title and first post reflecting to include any S550 with PP1 or PP2 aftermarket wheels.

Thanks for the head's up!!

do we really need another "show us your wheels" thread? There's nothing special about running 19" wheels vs 18". Almost any wheel that fits in size 18" on a GT/EB+PP will fit the bigger brakes in 19".

My experience over the last two weeks is that not every 19” will fit. I have reached out to several online vendors and they have a hard time guaranteeing a 19” will fit. Ford will not release the Brembo brake template data and only an aftermarket template is available. The vendors/ retailers will not accept it and be responsible for fitment. Who wants to order rims only to find out they do not fit over the Brembos and have to return them on their own dime.

Besides, why not separate the easier to fit GT and EB from the PP1 and PP2 with 15” brakes?

well, post up the wheels you have under consideration. Or pick from the list that have been posted over and over as working. Any vendor worth a damn will allow you to return the wheels so long as they haven't had a tire mounted and you didn't damage them during a test fit. If you're really not sure, just buy one wheel, and return/order 3 more once confirmed.

At the distance / angle people take pictures of their wheels many of them can't be discerned as being 6-pot or 4-pot brakes. I'll bet a healthy number of the posts on the original thread have 6-pot/15" brakes, they just aren't called out.

Those that are not custom drilled or bored, have said they can be returned but I would have to pay for it since they are not guaranteeing it will fit.

As for many being 15” Brembo with 6 piston brakes, that is what this thread is for. To show/ indicate what fits.

So let’s get back to seeing more photos of Performance Pack cars with custom wheels!!!

There are a dozen providers of wheels on this board and any of them can provide assurances. Exactly what wheel/manuf are you trying to deal with that can't answer the fitment question?

VMR V710 are the wheels I am looking for in a 19x 9.5 x 22 for the front and a 19 x 9.5 x 45 for the rear. I chose these offset to match as closely the PP2 stock 22 and 48 mm offsets and I did not want to have the wheels tucked in further since they are already narrower than other OEM sizes and their higher offsets.

What is interesting is that I already asked about VMR wheels and got no answers so I decided to ask and see what does work

ask VMR what their barrel diameter is. I have the VMR v705 in 19x9.5et33 on my Camaro (6 pots, 14.6" brakes) with acres to spare. Doesn't @pkauto here carry VMR? Worst case have the sales guy pull the CAD drawing and compare against your measurements.
19x 9.5 x 22 for the front
weren't you looking for off-season wheels/tires? Why would you choose to sling all that road spooge all over the side of the car? ET35-40F, ET35-50R are by far what people here have chosen to use.

Why would you think that? The current stock tires are just barely flush with the car with 10.5” and 11” widths. Even with similar offsets, they are still going to be 1/2” to 3/4” back of being flush.

In the end the vendor recently got this response from VMR:

"Spokes has plenty of clearance, but the barrel maybe had 5-6mm of clearance.

The Brembo template I found shows that the largest radius of the kit runs 220.7mm (8.68"). If he measures from the center of his hub to the tallest part of the caliper and he's within 8.75" (222mm), he should still be in the clear. See attached for an example."
So I need to now measure the radius of the widest part of the Brembos to see if they will fit.
