It feels as though Ford couldn't come up with an iconic name for their first all-electric SUV (and in my opinion, they could have and they could have made it the next big seller in their lineup), so they decided to piggyback on their (arguably) only iconic car. I think the Mach-E on its own is a great addition to the Ford line-up. The 'Mustang' Mach-E is not.
I bought my first Mustang two years ago and was so excited to be a part of the legendary heritage of the pony car. I was proud every time I got behind the wheel and every time I showed up at a track event with the running pony on the front. Associating a grocery-store/mall-going SUV (that you can't drag race or track) with the Mustang taints that for me. And for me (not for everyone), Ford has lost my respect and has lost a bit of what made the Mustang special. I likely will not be re-purchasing one of these cars in the future. Again, that is just my own personal opinion though.

Yes we will. As an old woman drives it 45 mph in a 55 mph zone. Just like EVERY... OTHER... CUV, especially the Honda CRV drivers.You'll be familiar with this view soon enough.
