1.89 60 so far is my best I’m running a radial on the stock 19 just curious what launch rpm should net the best times car just went 11.78 at almost 120 but has been 120.33 mph car is factory stock with 3.55 gears figured I’d ask if a 1.80 60 ft is possible, but may be to many limiting stuff of the car

thanks

I have a PP1/401A car (3.55 gear) and went 1.75 last time out with no burnout on 305/45/17 Mickey ET Street Rs (radial). This was stalling up to 2,000 rpms. There is a guy with similar setup to mine that I seen his timeslip show 1.63 by flashing the converter rather than loading up.

I am looking for deep 1.6x 60fts next time out with an actual burnout and also willing to use the transbrake if I need to if I get close enough to a 10.999999. I am going to a track rental next Sunday and should be in negative DA versus the +1,000 DA times I ran in my signature.

But I am on stock tuning I’m sure that limits me as well

Yeah, I agree I am on E85 but all the extra timing doesn't kick in till about ~3500 rpms and we are launching at ~2,000 rpms so I don't think it plays a huge part in the first 60ft.

Do you have drag mode?

Well done. A lot of people come to this section. And say a 1.6-1.7 is impossible.

1.75 would have my car running 11.60 100 percent stock, I just don’t think it can leave that hard

Notice he said on Mickey thompson drag radials. But a 1.8 on street tires is doable.

Hello. What wheel are you using for the 305/45/17 ET Street R's?

well I’m on Mickey Thompson drag radials but I’m thinking there is limits in the tune
Ok so you asked whats the best time people are getting. But you don't want to believe it? Because of your results? High 1.6s to 1.7s are a given with a good driver and real track prep. Walk the track before you race. It should be so sticky. It tries to pull your shoes off.

I believe it but I’m saying on a stock tune, the car don’t even try to spin I fully understand a tuned vehicle I have other cars that pull 1.47 60ft so track is not the problem

I can say my "transmission" tuning has been untouched so my drag mode works the same as stock. Did you turn Advancetrac OFF also by holding the button up for ~8 seconds?

I thought the better way was to unplug the black connector underneath the hood by the air filter. I may be wrong.
