I was about to start a new thread asking about these tires.
In 285/35r19 they're $124 on Tire Rack - which means I'm going to take the risk and get a set.
Because I've gone wide I was looking at UHP all seasons or lowish grip summers to allow for a little effortless sliding fun. These tires are cheaper than any Federal or Ohtsu I've found.
Yeah, no brainer. Normally would say General or Firestone for good low cost tires but at this price it’s worth a shot.

I loved them. I had a pair of Conti DWS06 extreme all season on one axle and the other were a set of Cooper. Couldn't tell the difference. Since the car was square, I switched them front to back and still could not see an appreciable difference. Now, they are all season which means they do not do everything great they just do everything good. I think I preferred the Cooper in the snow and the Conti slightly more in the rain but even with them on different axles, I did not see any drive-ability issues. I did have a set of 4 of the predecessors to the RS3-G3 ( the RS3-A or was it the RS3-S - I forget) which I do feel were better.

In the end, if you are looking for serious performance, you are NOT going to find it in an all season. Get a summer instead and put a set of winters when appropriate.

You know the old saying, Jack of all trades, master of none.
OP is looking at the summer tire. The all season was well over $200 each. At $124 they are a steal.

Snagged a set in 285/35/19 off Tirerack shiped for $527 , at that price it's worth a gamble. I mostly see good reviews vs bad and at that price it's worth it. I'll have them mounted Tuesday on a set of SVE R350's. Everyone trashes the stock P-zeros but I honestly think mine are decent as they don't spin under full peddle unless I dump the clutch. My 255's just look funny now on 10 inch wide wheels so swapping to the 285 Cooper's.
