Wouldn't it be cool if Ford gave a base model with the drag mode a10 auto , 3:55 gears maybe a 2 speaker stereo . Stickier rear tires and maybe the smaller brakes off of the Ecoboost ( if there smaller). Rear seat delete and light weight seats. Maybe a setup for E85 option from the factory?

I bought a 248 a package back in 1995 , added svo blower pi heads ran mid 7's eighth mile times on low boost back when 2 valves where getting bully kicked.

Ford used to have the GTS Mustang. It was a base V6 with GT drive train and brakes. So it was a light weight stripped GT.... no one really bought it.

I'd like one myself, but the fact they didn't sell well kinda killed the urge for them to make a new one. There was no profits in it. I'd like to see what the buy rate was on the base GT350 and the one with magneride. I feel like the sales/orders for the base was so low it's why they didn't survive a 2nd year.

Or a 300a if your going to tune it anyway. I can unplug my traction control at airbox and still have the drag mode like shifts unlike factory drag mode cars. ;).

For sure with a tune the 300a is the lightest, I just love my sync and the switches in my 301a
