It's generally always the dealer ownership.

When I ordered my '15 the day after New Years of 2015, my dealer had a 50th LE in the showroom (white, auto) with a $10K markup. I offered to buy it at sticker, but was refused. It sat there for most of the year with no taker and probably went into the owner's collection as was the rumor.

They did the same thing with early last-gen GT500s, and used them as showroom traffic generators. A few weeks ago I went in to inquire about the new GT500 and was told there would be no car sold at list, but the ADM amount was undecided. Um, no. So that one will be a showroom ornament for quite a while if history repeats itself at this dealer.

Yeah, we are just seeing same thing as previous GT500 ADM. They will set on lots and showrooms for most. Not sure why the release is in winter like 2015 GT350. Here's to hoping Vette and other cars make the ADM go away.

I inquired at my local Dealer (4 ponies from em') and found that the 2020 allocations were already spoken for but the list had been started for 21' with a 5K ADM
(much less that the 30k on the 15'350R)

Dealers were trying to get $20k+ for regular GT350's and now they are rotting on dealer lots for $5k-8k off MSRP. Ford dealerships are going to be in for a rude awakening trying to get these crazy ADM's on a $80-$100k car and driving away customers. There are just way to many other options available at that price point to turn away MSRP buyers due to greed.

Have we heard any predictions of the total number of GT500s per year?

I got my 2013 early for MSRP.

My 2014 got MSRP but that was towards the e d if the 14 model year, from Koons in MD of all places. I actually think I f’ed that one up and could have got it for less.

Now first and foremost this is nothing more then educated guess. If you look at past it would appear that they will make 5000 a year for 3 or 4 years which would probably be about right with the Mustang by then will need a refresh anyways and they could refresh wait a year or two then bring back the 500 again. Again I have not proof and just a guess

I think the 5k is a stretch now for MY20, seeing how we are 2 months into the production cycle. No cars delivered and under 1,300 scheduled through Jan 27th. FP will really need to pick up the pace after Jan 2021 to hit 5k for this first MY.

The S in MSRP stands for suggested as in MANUFACTURERS SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE and not MANUFACTURERS SET RETAIL PRICE.
Are you a car salesmen or something?
