So it happened a bit sooner than expected, its done though :like: I'll get a
sound clip up, it doesn't compare to in person though. Odd changes I did
not expect = Headers make you a more responsible car enthusiast.

Overall Impressions
Previous setup was an MBRP street catback. This setup is DEFINITELY
higher in pitch. MBRP was deeper, but it did drone in the cabin compared
to the current setup. Its louder for sure. Quieter when needed and a lot
louder when wanted!

Neighbor factor
Cold start is brutal, its quieter when pulling away though. The MBRP
wasn't bad on cold start, but louder when pulling away. It's a wash in my
book.

Power Increase
I did of course get a tune, the car did feel more sluggish before data-logs
were done. The final tune revision took car of that. Previously the car pulled
decently to about 6500 rpms, I didn't expect much of a change above but it
did. It pulls strong to about 7000 now. It keeps going, during data logging I
actually pulled it to almost 7500 by accident. Can't say I've noticed any
loss of power anywhere, actually it seems like there's just more of it all
over the power band.

Third gear is now my new go to gear without any concern of wheel spin.
Previously 2nd used to get a bit of spin, now I can get it to break loose
around 3500 just rolling into it. Have not dyno'd but the increase sure is
significant enough to be more careful in 2nd. 3rd is gone quick. 4th runs
out faster as well, and I left at that.

How's it drive/Sound?
Well, it sure is more fun. It's honestly, and oddly enough made me a more
responsible driver! The adult in me started thinking "What did I just do?"
while the kid in me just smiled on first startup. Scaring people is a new side
effect I didn't previously have the courtesy of enjoying. Joking aside, I try
not to rev match downshifts if pulling to a light when someone is right next
to me with the windows down. It will hurt eardrums, she screams a cruel
sound when more then 30% throttle is given. That aside, if you're wanting
to just hooligan it around town and don't care. This setup will do it for you.
I can't even imagine the car with extremes on it.

I am actually more selective on where I decide to open it up, knowing it can
definitely be heard much further away. That being said, yes its got a bit of
higher pitch rasp to it, its not bad. No drone at all, I can drive to work on the
highway without a constant deep rumble. To each his/her own on that, we
all have different tolerances.

Here's a few pics during/after install. I didn't get too into it, not trying to make
a how to. Not that I did the whole install, I did finish up the cat back myself
and had my tech take care of the headers. Took longer to get the alignment
just right than to get the cat back in place. Had to get it just right.

Thanks for checking it out! Hope this helps if you're on the fence. Its a fun
change to the cars character for sure.

I would love to do a full exhaust on my 2019 GT. Working 3rd shift and leaving the house at night I am sure would piss the neighbors off big time.
Looks like your install turned out awesome.

I have LTH with extremes and it is loud loud! I do not care, as no ears will be spared at stop lights if their windows are down!

I love my Corsa sport system. Just like you said, loud when you get on it and quiet when cruising.

I have ARH LTH with direct connect to Corsa XTREME. I found I needed to add some Vibrants to calm it down a bit cuz it was a bit crazy. Going FI will just make it worse so figured tone it now ahead of time.

I could 100% understand why you added vibrants. Depending on who, one could even justify adding them to the sport. A co-worker wanted to hear it on cold start today, I warned him not to stand behind the car. He did, and wasn’t expecting what he got lol. It’s a mean cold start for sure. Super tame at idle after 30 ish seconds.

Personally it’s still too new for me to say I’m used to it. I do like and enjoy the setup a lot more than the previous one for sure. It just surprises me at how brutal it can sound say, on the on ramp while getting on it. Im certain FI will amplify volume. Can’t wait.

I’ve also noticed more people trying to bait me to run. As if I didn’t get enough of that before

Can you give us a video of your setup? I have catted longtube headers and switched my Borla Sports to Roush to make the car louder, and now it's excruciatingly loud, lol. The crazy part is, the Corsa Extreme setup is even louder! I've heard both side by side.

OP, you're going to need to angle those O2 sensors if you want to use E85. Moisture builds up in the collector and will eventually ruin the sensors on E85.

Sure here are some before and afters. Also just an observation when I occasionally run a tank of pump 91 cold starts are much louder than usual tanks of ff / e.

Semi warm start before Vibrants

Semi warm start after Vibrants

Dyno WOT before Vibrants

Dyno WOT after Vibrants

Clips don't highlight how much they really helped but in person was night and day. Overall volume decreased, tone is more refined. Less trumpety and idles a bit smoother.

Please do post a video if you get a chance. I have the sports as well (and love them) and have been wondering about this set up too. How was the fitment with the headers?

I’ll have a video up soon. Fitment was on point, when I asked my tech he did mention “yeah, that job was the epitome of a tight fit”. So it did challenge for sure. He does want me to stop by again in a week or so to look it over again to make sure everything is still perfect though.

The headers look great and fit very well. I haven’t personally seen other brand headers in person.

Like most of you; I’ve done research and found brands like Kooks, ARH, and Stainless to be top tier from reviews.

Never heard anything bad about Corsa, they just ended up costing less. Though without getting into the territory of “cheap”. They do have a scavenger spike in the collector and the welding is flawless. Not sure why more people don’t go with them?

Per a previous comment, yes the o2 sensor bung isn’t at an angle and I did see Alex’s video about it on YouTube. I believe Kooks is the only brand that does that. I’m not running e85 and probably never will. At the most I’ll try flex in the future and I’ve not seen enough people burning o2s out due to this issue to worry. Im certain there’s merit to it, and does increase odds of failure. Its not something I wanted to throw nearly another thousand at though.

Edit: I have had Corsa Extremes w/stock headers on another Mustang and if we’re comparing volume... let’s call that setup and 8/10. Plus higher in pitch some.

The current setup is definitely a 9/10 (Corsa Sport w/LTH). It’s definitely a bit louder. As previous mentioned the LTHs gave it that “trumpet” factor. It’s definitely more crisp in sound and it does seem to rip harder on throttle jabs. It sends the sound out further for sure. Its fun :like: I’d do it again.
